Nice, budget friendly place right next to the historical part of Naples. Stayed in the appartment which was very clean, comfortable bed, nice shower and lots of space to put your things. The fan wasnt working but the owner gave us the remote for the aircon so no problem at all.

The hotel recommend you a few different ways to get there from the central station, among them taking the metro line 2 and then changing to line 1 halfway. In our opinion it was instead a lot easier to just get line 1 straight away and take that to dante. It cost less than 2 euros, had only two stops and took just over 5 min. Dont know how it can get much easier than that! ;) The stop is almost right outside the hotel as well so brilliantly close whenever you need to get anywhere

Naples instead did not impress me at all thou, unfortunately. I definately has a buzz about it but i found it to be very dirty with overflowing bins and rubbish all over the place. The graffiti on most building didnt do much to help either and although there was lots of buildings that was probably very beautiful once they are all now in great need of some restauration. Great shame really cause I believe the place could have a lot of potential if iit would be better looked after!

Agree with what a lot of people seem to say; Its a place you either love or hate

we have just come back from 4 nights at this amazing B & B - lovely friendly and helpful staff, spotlessly clean, excellent value, roof terrace, great location in centre of old town - will definitely return.

Room Tip: room 11 a bit noisy as near lift - ask for room 8

Having had a terrible experience in Naples last year (see review of Hotel Siri). I was determined to change my luck and boy did I succeed! We loved this place. The room was sparkling clean with quirky little touches like a toilet seat that looked like an apple. Juxtaposed with other WW II era furnishings about the property and the fact that to get to the room we walked through a window/door through the sweet little roof top terrace where a lovely breakfast was served each morning through the kitchen to a whole nother building--- it was all so quaint and made me smile every time and was so quiet and safe, I kept thinking if I ever need to hide out , this would be my destination, The proprietor was very patient with my seeming inability to operate all the keys and was fine with us leaving our luggage a few hours extra.

This B&B was perfectly located for us. It is across from Piazza Dante on the metro line 1 about 4 stops from the Central Station. Via Toledo, the Main Street that runs on front of the Piazza is a great shopping area with a number of interesting buildings and Plazas along the way to the waterfront. Also the location is very Close to the National museum that houses antiquities from Pompeii, including the naughty ones in a secret room.

I will say that it is pretty hard to find the first, second and maybe 3rd time but. I took pictures and will post, Here are my directions- Get off the Metro at Dante, There will be big statue of Dante walk to the first crosswalk in the direction he is pointing and look up the street - there is a big street sign I front of this street listing important tourist places- you should see stairs at the end- walk to the stairs and make a right on to San Dominican ( looks like an alley). Go past 2 shrines- the second is the pope and cross one street look to the left, you should see a B&B sign. ( see photo) ring the bell. You will need 10c to ride the lift.

Dear Lady to understand how ridiculous your judgment, you can go to see our page on Hotel booking're the only one to have written a negative judgment. You were too ridiculous to ask for the hot air in May radiators are closed by law since April 1. Despite this strange request you have given the remote control for the air. Mattresses of our B & B are orthopedic. We got the impression that as soon as you have seen anything was fine. I think you've got problems to solve. Are you a bad person. I wish you good luck!.

We stayed in an apartment here which we found excellent. It comprised a large bedroom with seating area, a kitchen _ diner and a bathroom Everywhere was well organised and cleaned meticulously daily ln addition we were invited to enjoy the roof garden, which was a wonderful place to relax with a glass of wine. The proprietor, Gullio was friendly and welcoming. When the shuttle bringing us from the airport was late, he was kind enough to wait for us in Piazza Dante to make sure that we arrived safely. Soriano is very well situated in the historic centre of the city. The railway station is about a 25min walk away and there is a metro station in Piazza Dante Regarding the four flights of stairs, there is a lift which worked perfectly saisfactorily Our room had a television set. It would have been nice to have had just one English speaking channel for rainy evenings, but this is a very tiny quibble. We are certainly intending to return

This rooftop B&B, with it's cute artistic decorations and it's shady terrace, is a perfect central retreat for staying in Naples. Step outside the door and you are just behind Piazza Dante, from where you stroll through cobbled lane ways to pizza heaven. Breakfast was good for Italy, room was comfortable, lean and air conditioned. Only minus was the directions to find it - without an iPhone "we are in streets near Piazza Dante" would not have cut it!
Definitely recommend this place, if you want to be in the centre of everything. And no, I didn't find Naples smelly or scary, contrary to reputation. As a woman and child travelling together, we fell in love with this city!

We spent 4 days in Naples at Soriano 44 and had quite a pleasant stay with Guillio ( not sure how to spell it). he was very helpful and pleasant to chat with. We were invited to enjoy pizza beer and wine for the European soccer cup final where Guillio set up a big screen tv on the top terrace. Soriano is in a very central location with easy walking access to most things. About 30 minutes walk to the bay down one street filled with shops so you can stroll and browse on the way. The room was clean and aircon and free wifi with access to a cute little kitchen and breakfast room and nice big terrace to escape the craziness of Naples.

Room Tip: My tip is to stay in Sorrento rather than Naples... We found Naples to be filthy and most shop owner...
