On 15th August which is an italian national holiday called Ferragosto, we found that most restorants were closed for lunch... exept this one. Location is perfect for the wonderful view on the gulf (reccomended for couples in love!). There's only first quality food, especially the fresh seafood. Unfortunatelly they don't serve pizza for lunch, which is excellent and cheap.
The bad side of this story was the behaviour of the head waiter who tried not to show us the menus, pushing us to take the most expensive dishes (later discovered it was e.g. about 20 Euro for one dish of spaghetti). When we firmly asked to have a menu with shown prices he started to be rude with us. Finally we ordered: 2 sea appetizers and 1 gnocchi alla sorrentina, 1 bottle of water... 44 Euros. Portions were really large, service was quite fast.
You know.. in some way it's a kind of tourist trap, if you don't pay attention, they get your money out very easly. Go for dinner, have a good pizza with some appetizers... and it will be a memorable night! :)
if you go by car consider 3 euro extra for parking.
