Design hotel close to the port and a short walk into town. Spa was great although the decor does make you feel like your in a nightclub. Sadly it was too cold to take advantage of the rooftop pool which I imagine is great in the summer. Service was excellent Stanislav on reception was welcoming and helpful. It's billed as a design hotel and just about carries it off although some bits did seem a little tacky.

I'm a travel agent and I stayed at the Hotel Romeo in Naples for a couple of nights and I can only say that is an excellent hotel ! In my life I stayed in a lot of Italian and international hotels but the Hotel Romeo is something apart.
All the staff is very nice: beginning from the nice girls at the desk, waiters, maids and the expert staff of the enchanting Spa (not an ordinary Spa)!
The cuisine is really good, the cigar room is an excellent idea for us cigar smokers, The view from the roof restaurant is breathtaking, the swimming pool on the roof is great with its comfotable armchairs, the bar boasts of a good collection of rums and whiskies, the deluxe billiard table and soccer table..everything have been studied carefully !
The location is great since the hotel is facing the port of Naples from where is easy to reach the charming island of Capri and/or Ischia for a day excursion.

You've got to see and try personally what the Hotel Romeo in Naples has to offer you!

This is one of the most modern, stylish and luxurious hotels in Italy. It's a great place to stay and a two minute walk to the port. Obviously, extremely convenient if you're leaving/returning to/from the port.

We love staying here. The views, the rooftop pool, the room (bed and shower are amazing). It's a treat and well worth a night or two. Worth the splurge.

We spent 4 days at the Romeo hotel (Thu- Mon). Fantastic facilities with a great look and feel, in a great location and with some very helpful staff particularly in the Spa / Gym and at reception. Despite the hotel being virtually empty on Thu / Fri it still had a nice atmosphere.

The Zero (sushi) restaurant was very good on Friday evening, just a shame there were only two tables being used, the food in the Il Comandante (spectacular views from the 10th overlooking the bay of Naples) was in comparison a little disappointing, bar a fantastic ravioli dish.

We only met the General Manager once (thank goodness) on Sunday morning when he asked us to leave the pool by 1pm as he had "100 very important people coming for a party"! You can imagine we felt like A-list celebrities. A great lesson in hospitality management in how not to win over your customers.

Such a shame as this incident took the gloss off a great weekend in Naples and therefore I couldn't recommend the Romeo hotel until there is a change in management / attitude.

Room Tip: Overlooking the bay is best!

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Romeo during our honeymoon. We loved the space, the design and the service. Staying at Hotel Romeo allowed us to relax and breathe in between a very busy 3 week trip. Also, we had plans fall through on our way to Positano and needed to reschedule a few days of our trip at the last minute. We chose Hotel Romeo because we loved it so much, and we loved Naples so much - the rate was much higher since we were booking on such short notice, but the staff were willing to match our original booking rate which made our second stay possible.

spent 2 nights in this really hip place on the waterfront, facing the main Cruiseship embarkment. Had a wonderful view on the harbour, spacious and functional well designed room with a fixed shower stall. Very good bedding, Breakfast is served on the 10th floor with stunning views, small pool deck on the 9th floor, didn't have time to use the gym in the basement. Staff very helpfull and smiling. Young and stylish crowd

Room Tip: 311 large room overlooking the harbour

Afriend and I stayed in the hotel for a weekend. It was a great expereience. The hotel is spacious and has a slick decor. Considering the rest of the Neapolitan population, the staff was very friendly and attentive. They responded to our special requests (such as charging my ipad) with a smile and were attentive. The cigar/TV room is a cool palce to hang out and meet with other guests, which doesn't exist in any other hotel I have been to in Europe. They had warned us that the area around the hotel can be a little rough, but we just took cabs everywhere and did not feel in danger. All in all, it was a great experience.

Room Tip: Definitely choose a room with a harbor/Vesuvius view...
