You probably can't go wrong with any of the pizzerias in the area. That said, I Decumani didn't disappoint. It could only if you prefer your pizza to be dry, crusty and crunchy but hey, you are going to be disappointed in most pizzerias in Naples then. I Decumani is classical Neapolitan in this, unpretentious ambient, small tables, quick and no frills service and a menu nearly exclusively composed of pizza. 2 whole pages, actually. Modest prices, 3-6€, too, which never hurts. Not a lot of space so come early if you don't want to spend your evening in a queue. Fortunately here I Decumani isn't that bad as the nearby Sorbillo, which is often so crowded that I give up waiting half the time I'm in the area.
So yes, this is classic Neapolitan pizza in a historical area with a typical kind of service. All good. The only reproach I want to make is the lack of a proper fiscal receipt at the end, which means they don't pay the taxes they should. Shame on them, but it doesn't subtract anything from the experience, I just name this so those who are firm in these matters can know what are the "customs" at this pizzeria.
