Went there following the review on top advisor, must say that pizza were awesome, service Ok, and prices very reasonable. A very nice pinot noir as well, good choice.

“Relaxed, Refreshing and Reasonable”
Reviewed 8 April 2014

First, I live in London via Zurich, so 60Euros for a meal to me is reasonable! We were wandering along the Bay on the way back to our hotel and this place was near packed, restaurants to the immediate left and right, not so much. So we figured it would be good, and it was. We ate outside under a heater with a view of the lighted Castel. We started with Peppered Mussels and Calamari. Mussels were great, Calamari a bit chewy. Hubbys prawns were amazing, my lobster, not so much. Hubby won. If we had both ordered his meal, would have been 4-5 stars, but was a bit hit or miss. Waiters were attentive and efficient. Ask the waiter whats good, he will obviously know and point you in the right direction.

“An enjoyable first meal on our 40th wedding anniversary trip to Italy”
Reviewed 6 January 2014

Our driver took us to Gusto & Gusto for our first lunch on our 40th wedding anniversary trip to Italy. It is located on the promenade near the port and the Castel dell'Ovo. It is one of the cleanest places that I saw in Naples which is otherwise one of the filthiest cities that I have ever visited.

We started with an antipasto of fresh buffalo mozzarella and tomatoes. We ordered fried fishes and of course a Napoli pizza. All the food was delicious. It was a beautiful sunny November day and warm enough to enjoy the outdoor seating. It was a good start on our trip to Italy.

“Good but expensive”
Reviewed 9 September 2013 via mobile

Nice location in front of the see, pedestrian area all around, good food, possibility to eat outside. A bit expensive for Naples but ok.

“Nice location, expensive”
Reviewed 6 September 2013 via mobile

The food is great but the prices are high given the nice seafront location. We had a nice meal- decent portions and good quality food, with really good table bread (normally inedible but here great), but the whole experience was spoiled by the greed of the waiter. They put a cover charge on the bill, which is fine, then they add service at 15% without asking, which I accept as some places do as you can just ask to have it off if you disagree. However, what I didn't like was the way the waitor brought the bill to the table and said very clearly that a tip wasn't included, despite the fact that we were already paying nearly 10 euros extra on a 30 euro bill for service and cover charges! What, he wanted a tip, service charge AND cover charge? Get real. We left made to feel bad that we didn't leave even more money!
