“Highlight of our Italian trip”
Reviewed 21 April 2013 via mobile

We booked this hotel mainly due the the strong rating on trip advisor. Despite high expectations this hotel still surprised positively. Max, RJ, Nico and Zara did a fantastic job to make us feel at home, give us tips, make bookings and even prepare drinks for us and bake! Felt more like visiting family than staying in a hotel. No request seemed to be any trouble. We had three young kids in tow and the team was so patient with them. Rooms are well equipped and clean. Service fantastic and location really is perfect although technically not 'Naples Centre'. Via Chiaia is a great place to stay.

Our second stay was as enjoyable as the first. The ApartHotel is clean, comfortable and offers some rooms with mini kitchens. Max and his team could not do enough for us. Helpful and welcoming, they made us feel special. Breakfast offers homemade sweets, hot sfogliatelle, juice, cereal and yogurt. The location is close to the ferrys, Palazzo Reale, Teatro San Carlo, Santa Lucia and Chiaia shopping district. In fact most of Naples is easly accessable. When I return to Naples, I will be staying here.

Room Tip: Get a room with a balcony, it gives you an unbelievavle vantage point to see the bustle of via Chiai...

In all the hustle and bustle of Naples, this is such a lovely hotel to stay. We stayed there for three nights, Max and Nico were very welcoming and ready to help. Really enjoyed the breakfast and personal touch to it. The hotel is situated 5 minutes walk from the Marina, really good location for shopping and restaurants. If you want to get the train to Pompeii you can walk to the station (takes 30 minutes) take a bus or a taxi (€6). We will definitely come back again.

This review is long due .... This place is absolutely fantastic for those on a budget. Situated on a wonderful pedestrian street. Walking distance to the harbor and buses. This hotel is so quiet that it is unbelievable when you visit Napoli. We were there for new year celebration and we had a wonderful time. Old building totally renovated. Rooms are VERY simple. Don't expect paintings rugs decorative gadgets. It is almost like a convent style. In any event we spent 7 nights there and we looked forward every day to retrieving ourselves from the chaos of Napoli.
Our room was one of the best one: top floor with balcony facing the Chiaia street. Not all the room have large windows ....
Management and staff were very very nice. Making cakes for breakfast with fresh squeezed juice and giving you good recommendation as well. We felt at home. Thanks Max !

Room Tip: our room with a balcony was nice !

We booked two rooms for two nights. One of the rooms had a balcony which was wonderful for letting in fresh air. The other room did not have a balcony and was a little stuffy; our daughter had to run the A/C in November. The staff was quite friendly and served a nice breakfast each morning which included fresh-squeezed orange juice and home-made cake. The hotel was located on a pedi-mall which had a number of shops and several restaurants. The only downside to this was that you had to walk a little ways to catch a cab or bus. Due to the location and friendly staff, we would definitely recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a balcony. It may be a little noisier, but the fresh air is quite nice.

Have just read review by Lugansk. He/she must be from another planet. My wife and I have just spent a week in this small hotel. It was perfect. We had a room with a small balcony overlooking the street - which was not too noisy as it is a pedestrian street most of the day and night. Location of hotel was great as a base for sightseeing and restaurants/cafes. Good sized room with comfortable bed and good bathroom. Everything very clean and in good order? The breakfast was wonderful with fresh orange juice, tasty croissants, cakes and other delights - some made by RJ who looks after the breakfast guests. He also makes the best cappuccino in town (according to him! - but it was good). If you want bacon & eggs (a personal weakness of mine!) stay somewhere else. This was breakfast Neapolitan style. Max, who managed the hotel, was very helpful, friendly and a real professional. This place is a class act.

Room Tip: Try and get a room with a balcony - although I did not see the other rooms.

Dear Sir,
many thanks for your comment. I remember perfectly your friendliness and your guitar playing in the lobby.
I think the reason for everything is the way in which someone hear the news from tripadvisor.
Someone think that a hotel should be ranked first for luxury and splendor, but tripadvisor is different. You can stay in a five star hotel and could be disappointed, unlike you can stay in a small hotel and have the best experience of your travel. I don't understand why the ukrainian lady did not talked about her problems during her stay. We were ready to solve in a moment!
I'm very glad to had met you and your wife and I hope to see you soon!!!
Greetings,

Max
