A throwback to the past, this charming hotel delighted us! From the moment we arrived we received a warm greeting from the staff. The view of the Bay of Naples is beautiful.

The restaurant was superb with a wonderful view. The service was excellent.

The staff at this hotel were the some of the friendliest we met in Naples.

Room Tip: Try to get a room overlooking the Bay of Naples

This is one to love , the complete ambience of being thrown back into the 40's 50's and 60's .Its truly a classic and the staff are great . Its we had a 2 story ungraded room with a balcony overlooking the Bay ( to die for ) what a view . Breakfast on the 6th floor was also a great view although it was a buffett it could have used nicer fruit or fish , lots of cakes for breakfast if thats your thing . Now this hotel could used an overhaul to beds and some plumbing . The Beds are springs that have seen better days , and the shower knocks a little minor annoyance . The Bed on the other hand isn't , its hard and the springs fight back as you lie on them definitely time for a replacement . Overall we did love this old place and all of its Charm it has some of the best view of Naples to be had

Dear Sam K,
Good afternoon from sunny Naples,
We hope that you had a good journey back home,
We would like to thank you for sharing your thoughts and suggestions regarding our property.
We will share your comments with the Team, to improve our services.
We inform you that Grand Hotel Parker's is the most historical property in the City and our décor might seem old-fashioned sometimes; on the other hand several guests, their comments are visible on Trip Advisor too, stated that their “home away from home” offers a comfort of other times. That’s why we are considered a classic hotel and not a design’s one.
We invite you to contact us for your next stay in Naples.
Our Warmest Regards.

My cousin from St. Paul Minnesota was determined to have his wedding in his paternal grandmothers home village outside of Naples. And he followed his wish!
His future wife via the internet found a great wedding planner in Naples, and about 20 of us from both families in the U.S. traveled to Naples and stayed at the Grand Hotel Parkers. The GHP had been suggested by the wedding planner. Some stayed 3 days and some as myself 8 days. The married couple also had the wedding banquet at GHP in Georges Restaurant.
We all, everyone of us, enjoyed every moment at the GHP. The view of Naples Bay on the 6th floor dining area is jaw dropping, And the service in every department of the GHP is also stunningly jaw dropping good too!
So how really good is GHP? The vignette below sums up the entire GHP experience for all 20 of us:

On June 24, 2014 ,the day before we embarked back to the U.S., my almost 99 year old mother announced to all family members present in the sitting area in the GHP Lobby that she was informing us all that she has decided to return to the Grand Hotel Parkers in 2015 for her 100th Birthday Party! Yes! The Grand Hotel Parkers is that good!!!
So we are preparing to plan to return to the GHP in 2015 were I will plan to say "Happy 100th Mom!"

Room Tip: The Executive Single Rooms facing the Bay of Naples are the best buy. They can be fitted with two single beds and are very roomy for two sharing a single room. There is loads of space. We had this type of room for eight days.

The hotel has an olde worlde elegance which is matched by the gracious staff. The location is not great if you are looking for central as it is high up the hill...but the views are stunning over the bay and the ambience in the restaurant is fantastic. The food was really good and the waiters helpful with wine choices etc. The bedroom was very clean and of a good size with a small balcony (no seating) the bathroom had a really good shower, this is a lovely hotel full of charm.

Dear Gail T,
Good afternoon from sunny Naples,
On behalf of the whole team we would like to thank you for your comments and compliments regarding your experience at Grand Hotel Parker’s.
The property is the most historical Hotel in the heart of the City, located in an upper class quarter, overlooking the Bay of Naples. The hotel offers the opportunity to visit the City by walk or by public transportation, just 5 minutes walking distance from the Metro station Piazza Amedeo, and closed by the prestigious shopping streets of Naples.
We hope to greeting you again in Naples.
Our Warmest Regards.

The Parker's has a fantastic terrace with view on Gulf of Naples from Sorrento coast and Capri till the local beach at Posillipo. Reception staff have been excellent, as well as porters and car valets, all along our seven nights stay in a junior suite with sea view on two floors. Our room suite was spacious with good facilities on both floors. This seemed to us a good reflection of the past splendor of Naples architecture and Naples highlights.
And the above have been the only positive sides of our stay.
Unfortunately the Parker's reflects also the very bad condition of the town of Naples, which is hard to tolerate anyway and impossible to accept on holidays.
The hotel is in urgent need of refurbishment as it's evident in our images.
The two lifts welcome the visitor with a terrible smell, which is really disgusting before breakfast. Bathrooms are nice and well appointed, but really too old and shower tab make Always a terrible rhythmic noise very loud. Level of cleaning was very bad and we found items of the previous guests and a lot of dust. We were not wondering to meet a maid at the Spa just a couple of minutes before the opening time cleaning with one hand and smoking a cigarette in the other hand. Once we had a temporary interruption of water, which we can understand considering the quality of the noisy plumbing.
Breakfast was average, but staff was often unattentive with few exceptions in a very busy breakfast room and its faboulous terrace. Fruit juices were not fresh, but served in small consumer bottles. We have seen guests preparing by themselves tables with napkins and flatware. Excellent small mozarellas and local pastries as sfoglaitelle were the highlights of the buffet. Very limited seleection of yoghurt and jams. It was quite funny to realizee that cups and saucers did not combine, because they were from various kinds.
Bar service was modest and overrated for Italy: Euro 15,00 for an ordinary cocktail and Euro 8,00 for a coke..
But what was most unbearable always was that members of staff were always chattering between them very loudly and also when they had phone call in bar and at restaurant. Maybe this is a typical attitude in Naples.
