Stayed here for one night. I stay at Marriott hotels in the US frequently, so booked a night here with points. We traveled down from Rome for 2 days/ 1 night to see Pompeii and the Archaeology Museum. Checked in here, the front desk staff was super helpful. The hotel itself was more American then European. That is, it had fairly large rooms. Large bathrooms as well. Our room had an awesome view of the harbor and Mt Vesuvius. Breakfast was included, this was a nice buffet that was located on the top floor of the hotel, awesome views. The overall location of the hotel is in the middle of a business area, but there are a few restaurants very close. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. Clean, good location, great staff, good sized, very clean rooms.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a Vesuvius view!

For Location, your advised to get a taxi to the Hotel before orienteering yourself, as it's off a side a junction form a side street in the centre, perfect for via toledo otherwise a fair 20 minute walk from piazzo garibaldi. However the gem of the Hotel is the Top floor with spectacular view overlooking monte versuvio
Quality, variety & local deleicacies were to a very-good to excellent standards & castel nuovo. Rooms were typcally clean and business like consistent with Renaissance/Marriott standards & culture
The price list didn't encourage a booking at the in-hotel restaurant, though the lobby was large with amercan-background staff, typically

I have been working a lot in the Naples area and stayed here several times. Location is great for its proximity to the shopping and there are several nice restaurants nearby.

Rooms are very comfortable and have big bathrooms by Italian hotel standards, but nothing special. Gym has treadmill, elliptical, bike and some free weights so good enough for light workouts. Onsite parking is a huge plus (don't be afraid to ask the tenants to pull your car out as the entrance is narrow and precarious). Best part of hotel is the roof top breakfast room that has amazing views of the bay, castles, galleria and especially Vesuvius. Staff is very friendly and helpful in recommending places to go and things to see.

Room Tip: Because of all the surrounding buildings, the higher your floor, the better view you will have. If...

Clean, helpful staff, great rooms and a nice location. Get an executive room or a junior suite and do take up the breakfast buffet. Get there early and enjoy the view of the sun rising over the bay of Naples. Unbelievably beautiful.

Hotel has a great location in the heart of Naples, minutes to walk to the bay, shopping and the historic sights.
Breakfast is a treat on the 11th floor with one of the best views of Naples and the surrounding areas.
The staff is very helpful and friendly.

Spent 5 days here and used it as a base on our day trips round the Napleas/Amalfi Coast
We did have problems with the bedding as most Marriotts have toppers and duvets this sad twin room didn't wasn't very impressed with the room at all but we managed to have our last night in comfort after we complained. The hotel itselt is nice enough.Friendly staff especially at breakfast, Best thing is breakfast buffet with plenty of choice - and great Capuccinos!! You can sit outside and eat breakfast with a view of the of the bay of naples with Vesuvius to the left. Bar is also good with free WiFi and reasonale good wines. Woudl I stay again yes we will go again in April.

Room Tip: This Hotel is centrally based and easy to get round Naples by foot sensible footwear essential.

This hotel has a great location but it does not live up to the Renaissance name. Check in staff were extremely rude and very arrogant. The room was a nice size and appeared clean, but there were dust bunnies all over the place on further inspection. Shower pressure was great, however and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was not included in the rate and at 15 EUR it wasn't worth it, typical continental with some rubbery hot items as well. Unfortunately, this is one of the few 4 star properties in town and its worth staying here only for short durations.
