“Loved it”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 September 2012

1st time in Naples, so wanted a hotel that was easy to get into and out of with a car.
Was great hotel, loved it, easy to find, could park outside to unload, staff fantastic, very happy and polite. Was told that parking was in a private carpark that was across the road, run by different company but hotel has arrangement with them to park there.
Rooms where great, lovely and clean, big bathroom and comfy beds, air con and quite with the windows shut, surprising as we where in the center of naples. Breakfast area was amazing, half way up the building on a big terrace over looking naples, you get the usual traffic noise, even up that far, but was worth it all and very nice. Breakfast is continental style, with alot of different things to choose from, so was very filling.
All in all, very nice place, considering that i drove from the uk to naples, was a great rest stop.

We made our booking at this hotel at the last minute and it was great for what we needed. The hotel is located near the port where the cruise ships all end up, plus it is also relatively close to where the airport shuttle drops people off near the port. It is located close to the Castel Nuovo, easily visible from the front of the hotel. Buses are also right outside the hotel, for anyone needing a ride to the airport or train station. The area also felt quite safe, despite all the stories you hear about Naples.

The hotel is very clean with a more modern look about it in most areas. There is a large lounge area with a bar and large screen TVs, which came in handy during the Euro Finals. Rooms are comfortable in size, with ample room for the large suitcases we dragged with us. Well appointed and clean rooms. Beds were sufficiently comfortable too and our balcony opened out into a quiet laneway. Wifi is provided free in the hotel and lifts also come in handy for dragging your bags to your room. All in all, a relatively good experience for our short stay in Naples.

We stayed here two nights while visiting Naples. The hotel staff were very friendly and the buffet breakfast each morning was outstanding. Great choice and nice balcony to enjoy the views. The hotel is also about a 5 minute walk to the start of the Hop-On Hop-Off Sightseeing Bus tour, which can take you all over the city.
Very impressed.

This hotel was / is perfect for our 6 day stay here in naples. The hotel is a 7 euro cab ride from the station which is quite cheap. It is located about 1 minute walk from the main port / ferry station to all the italian islands and the amalfi coast which again is very handy . The main shopping street ( via toledo) is about a 5 minute walk away , if that . Behind the hotel is one of the best pizzerias (castel nuove pizzeria) . The hotel itself is a beautiful hotel , with very modern and clean rooms. The rooms are large and have really comfortable pillows and beds. Breakfast is of a very high standard and there is alot to eat. You have the choice of dining indoors , or out on the large balcony which has a beautiful view of the bay of naples. The staff here are delightful. We had the pleasure of dealing quite heavily with three ladies which were truly amazing. They were :"the beautiful Mary" who was a delight and had quite a personality. She should be a model!! Really really beautiful. Also we dealt alot with a lady called Allessandra who was truly a gem . I must have bombarded her with atleast 20 questions in my/our first 20 minutes at the hotel , and she was only too willing to help. Also Laura was really really sweet , and was very eager to help us with our itenerary , calling restaurants / looking up time tables etc etc. I think our stay in Naples , without the help of these 3 ladies would have been a disaster. Thanks to all the staff at the Mercure Naples for your help and dedication to ensuring our stay was a really pleasent stay. When in Naples we will Definately stay at this hotel again and again and again.

We stayed at the Mercure Napoli Angioino Centro for 2 nights, one at either end of our 2 week trip round the Bay of Naples.

This hotel is conveniently and ideally located by the imposing Castel Nuovo, the main hydrofoil port for the islands of Procida, Ischia and Capri and the stop for the Airport bus, which runs direct (via a stop at the Station).

The hotel has incredibly comfy beds and modern, well appointed rooms (perhaps a little sterile?). There is free wifi, which was useful, although the signal was rather inconsistent. Breakfast was excellent and comprehensive and was served on the terrace overlooking the port and the Castel.

The hotel is ideal for those seeking a convenient stop-over in Naples, whether you're en route to Sorrento, Capri etc or whether you're here on business. The location is the key benefit. However, the helpful staff, cool and large rooms and wifi provide a welcome oasis from the madness of the Big Olive!

The hotel is very well situated, with foot distance to everything you may be interested in: old town, touristic objectives, shopping area, port, restaurants & bars, with public transportation including airport shuttle bus stations near by.
The hotel is clean, rooms are comfortable although a bit noisy (our room was facing the street), with not very diversified but fresh and good quality breakfast.
Overall good quality service, great free wi-fi in the room and a nice surprise as we received free one day tickets for all transportation in Naples.
