Naples is infamous and I would so that i agree with all the reasons. The city is huge but if u have been to other places like amsterdam, prague, budapest, you will find naples chaotic, little dirty and mildly unsafe. Hence, to come to know of these facts after we had booked our return flight from here, we were searching for a hotel in good locality, near the sea and accessible. Hotel Majestic is a great hotel with comfortable plush rooms, great front desk and excellent location. Would recommend anyone who would like to stay near the coast instead of unpopular places like train station.

We stayed here for 4 nights after visiting ischia.

We was greeted a welcoming manner and was given a map and explained were all the close attraction was.

The rooms are a standard hotel size very clean and modern. Maids cleaned the rooms everyday within are 4 night stay. Mini bar in the rooms is a great idea as there is no hotel bar.

This is a standard city hotel for room only basis as the hotel has no bar or restaurant although they to have a breakfast option. The other down sizes are the rooms have no balconies and the hotel has no pool which is needed in the summer heat.

Located about a 15 minute walk to the sea front bars and restaurants and about 20 minutes to a small sandy beach.

Located in a very nice part of naples the hotel majestic was a nice place to stay we got there early enough to secure on of the parking spaces the room itself was spacious and we had a nice view of the bay of naples the only real issues were the toilet flush not working properly and the bath did leak over all nice hotel could do with including breakfast at no extra cost

Location: good neighborhood, 1 minute walk to the shopping area, 10 minute walk to the seafront or city center and nearest treinstation. Very convenient location. Furthermore, plenty of restaurants nearby, a great ice cream parlor around the corner and supermarket 1 minute away.
Staff: were helpful and friendly.
Room: we had a family room and it was OK and clean, bathroom spacious, but jacuzzi did not work (expected...) and water in the shower did not flow through the drain that easily. Beds are OK, a bit hard.
Breakfast was sufficient choice.
Parking at hotel is 25 euro per day, WiFi was free (in contrary to some descriptions).
Overall we had a pleasant stay at this hotel at this good location.

The Majestic Hotel in Naples is in a good neighbourhood and is about a 10 minute walk to the sea front, where you will find a huge range of excellent restaurants. Overall, the location of this hotel was better than we had hoped for, as other more expensive hotels are in far less desirable parts of the City (near the train station for example). Yes the wifi was a little slow at times, but that’s life. There are loads of nice places to drink coffee or wine within a matter of minutes of the hotel and are very reasonably priced, so this wasn't an issue for us. Just be aware of the cars and mopeds in Naples, as the word “pedestrian” isn’t in their vocabulary.
