“Close proximity to Napoli Centrale (Train Station) & Great Breakfast!”
Reviewed 25 April 2014 via mobile

We stayed in this hotel in early April. We love its close proximity to Napoli Centrale, thus enabling us to travel to Sorrento and Pompeii easily. We can also take a taxi or Bus 151 to the Port to catch a ferry to Capri. There are many eateries near Piazza Girabaldi. We returned to Piazza Girabaldi late one night, once exited from the metro station, there is a fast food restaurant named "Chicken Hut" that serves great food if you need supper and it is opened till 11pm. Hotel staff were generally friendly & helpful. Special mention would be the male receptionist with a moutache who checked us in in the morning of 2 April, he was very polite & friendly; Roberta who helped us with the map & direction to the Port, and the chambermaid, Louise who waved at us from the other corner of the corridor with a
hello & giving us some tips on Italian food & sites to visit in Naples in a mix of Italian & English subsequently. The buffet breakfast spread was good for a 4-star
hotel. I love the almond pie and the rose-flavoured croissant. Well, just two hiccups at the hotel: 1) No kettles provided in the hotel rooms and we feel this is a basic necessity provided in most hotels, at least for the past 10-20 years. Being a hotel in an international hotel chain, I think this is something to improve on. 2) Next, ignorance by male receptionist at 11.30pm on 2 Apr 2014 for a good 15 mins was unthinkable. I was there because I had problems logging onto the wifi. I was waiting for my turn just behind 2 gentlemen who had problems with their checking-in. I think the male receptionist could at least give eye-contact and promised me that he would help me at the soonest possible time but instead I was treated as if I was transparent.

This is very much a typical Ramada, and it's very convenient to the Naples train station. It was like other Ramadas I have stayed in, which is a good thing. I had no complaints. It was good to stay in a nice hotel after a long flight and train ride from the US.

Very friendly reception staff got to know us through the week and were really helpful. Clean room but only 1 bottle complimentary water, fairly comfortable bed (2 singles pushed together would be better replaced by a double). Good sound proofing from road (although not completely blocked out) and heard nothing from room neighbours. Good variety at breakfast (although warming plates didn't work). Half board evening meal was from a different menu every day (rather than buffet) with good variety and excellent service. 1 morning hot water took 20 mins to come through. Good access to railway station and hotel shuttle to airport (a little expensive but worth it for piece of mind on Italy's roads!) Appears to be more of a business hotel with busy conference suit but this didn't take away from our excellent experience. Private underground parking easily accessible and simple process. Good speed free Wifi throughout hotel.

Stayed at the hotel Thursday to Sunday in November. Pretty much a faultless experience really. Welcome friendly and efficient. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Bathrooms large. No problem with hot water at any time. Common areas and lifts were clean. Continental breakfast plentiful. Suppose Orange and Grapefruit juice were a little weak but that would really be unfairly and struggling to find something wrong. Area is perfect for railway stations and access to Pompeii, Herculaneum and Sorrento. Circumvesuviana rail line is a bit of a bone-shaker but perfectly efficient. Graffiti is EVERYWHERE on the streets and perhaps gives an impression of being a dirty or frightening city but it really is neither. We walked to and from the hotel in late evening darkness and felt perfectly safe even in smaller side streets - mainly due to the amount of people and traffic about. Napolitan traffic is absolutely chaotic but our early nervousness was soon replaced with bravado and we found ourself joining in with the locals and stepping out in front of cars at crossings which do ( fortunately) stop.

If you're heading to Pompeii and Herculaneum, as we were, this is a pretty much unbeatable hotel. Faultless experience really.

Room Tip: Some reviews suggest rooms at the back but we were on fifth floor front over a busy Friday/weekend a...

I was here for one night while I was in Naples for business.
The hotel is very good with kind staff and very clean and big rooms.
If you have a car you can park in the nearby garage that has an agreement with the hotel.
Also the restaurant was good, I ate something there and food was nice and not expensive considering that generally restaurants in the hotels are quite expensive.
The negative aspect is the position: the hotel is very near to the highway and to the central station.
However I think I can stay here again if I have to go to Naples for business.

The best location close to train station, Trianon pizzeria one of the best in Napoli.

Rooms are good , breakfast is bad though, DON'T get it seriously.

For Italian standards this is very good.

Hosts are very nice.

As a city, Naples is not great. The hotel is situated in something like a poor tenement area with traffic to die for (not, really, I mean people would die here).
The receptionists are lovely, the room was basic. As usual in Italy you get no kettle, coffee or tea. The beds were stone hard. The bar was very smart, but the speed of service was something like tortoise pace.
Breakfast has a good range at the buffet. Overall the price is OK for the average quality.
You wont be taking many photos round the area.

Room Tip: Try the Amalfi coast 50 miles away
