This hotel is a quiet, clean, and well located budget choice in bustling Naples. It's right across from the university, so the street is full of people (along with booksellers and snack snops) at all hours - that made me feel safe as a solo traveler.
The hotel's building is set back from the street, so my room, which overlooked a courtyard and has a small step-out balcony, was amazingly quiet. (Read reviews below for instructions on how to get to the entrance; it's well marked but could be a little confusing the first time.)
The decor in my room (in the Europeo) was pleasant, old-school pensione, with a small TV and a spacious bathroom. I was there on a chilly night and the heat wasn't on, but there were warm blankets provided. There was a set of bunk beds as well as a double bed in my room, so I believe this was a larger room booked as a single. I can't imagine a family of four fitting into it, but it would have been fine for two.
It took about 20-30 minutes to walk to the hotel from the train station, and a little less to walk to the airport bus stop at the port. The hotel is in the middle of the historic district - easy walk to the Duomo, the archeological museum, the port, the swank shops of Chiaia, and metro and funicular stations to get elsewhere.
