This castle is best viewed from outside. The entrance is breathtaking, but from there I'm afraid it's all downhill. The paintings on show in the upper right portion of the castle are of limited quality, the Baron's Hall is plain and uninteresting, and the view from the balcony is easily bettered by that from the road just down from the Royal Palace.
The only moderately interesting part is the glass floor over the ruins, but even that is not worth the six euro entrance fee.
All in all, it promises so much, but delivers so little. Best avoided.
