We went to the wrong site after booking online. Unfortunately have lost the money from our original booking due to booking in advance. However, Alex was so helpful and as a tour guide, awesome. So much fun and informative. Cannot recommend anyond other than him. Thanks Alex for making a bad situation into a great one!

Naples underground tour was very fun and interesting! Guide clearly explained the history and other information. Somewhat similar to exploring a cave. I took the English tour and did not buy a ticket in advance. Simply arrived at 9:30am. They opened around 9:45. Started with the Italian tour first. (That was a little confusing as they only spoke in Italian until they were ready to queue the English tour). The guides formed two lines; people with advance tickets on the left, those w/o on the right. Advance ticket holders go first. But, I had no trouble getting in the 10am English tour on a weekday. It might be more crowded on the weekends or peak season. Paid $15 Euros. A nice change of pace from castles and museums.

We arrived to the entrance of the underground tour at around 2.30pm and was met with a huge que, there was no signage to say what the que was for or how get tickets etc. my partner went up to the front of the que where there was an employee standing and watching on. He was told we could purchase tickets for €15pp for skip the line English tour that started at 3pm, so we did. However on reflection we should have asked how much regular tickets are and how the system works.
We arrived back at 2.55pm as requested and waited in a shorter “skip the line que”.
An Italian tour was starting as we arrived and it seems the skip the liners go in first and then they invite any one joining the Italian tour from the huge que. We waited to around 3.15 till it was our turn.
We went into the first waiting area for around 5mins and then a second for about 10mins. So it seemed we paid extra just to sit around for longer to wait for everyone else.
The tour groups are big! Around 50 or so people. The information they give you in each section is short and provide similar information to what was said in the last spot.
As history buffs we were expecting more information or more visuals but you really are just looking at old walls with repetitive information about how the underground was used on three different occasions.
The tour guide was friendly and done her best but it is a crowded area with lots of tours going on at the same time.
After leaving the underground section we were walked through the main & very busy street to another section which was similar.
If you have a few hours to kill in Naples then I would say it is worth a visit.

Great experience. Tania gave us a fantastic guided tour. It was my favourite attraction. We learned a lot of things and got an excellent perspective of how the city looked many years back. Thank you.

It's definitely an interesting place and worth visiting. It was however very crowded, each group was over 50 people, and with multiple tours going on at once, it was difficult to hear the guide, and there's no way the guide was keeping track of everyone to make sure someone didn't get left behind. It took twenty minutes just to climb back up because we had to share the stairs with another group going down.
