“Really enjoyed it”

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating, the room was spacious and beautiful overlooking Via Chiaja, and the price was good. Breakfast was somewhat limited.
The one annoying thing was that the front door is always closed and locked. You have to ring the bell, wait for as long as it takes for someone to buzz you in, and then go through the same exercise again to get through the door on the second floor. This routine became old fast...

I have just spent ten wonderful days in Naples at the Chiaja Hotel de Charme. I t was a fantastic experience.

The location of the hotel couldn't have been better. I was able to walk to the historic center, most museums, the port, the sea, and great shopping areas. In addition, it took less than five minutes to walk back to the hotel, after attending an opera at the Teatro San Carlo.

Overlooking the courtyard, my single room was spacious and quiet. . The breakfasts were both ample and delicious. I especially enjoyed the hotel's sitting room, where, after a day of sightseeing, it was pleasant to mingle with the other guests and enjoy eating some typical Neapolitan snacks.

What impressed me most about the Chiaja Hotel, however, was its fantastic staff. In addition to recommending restaurants and helping me with hydrofoil schedules to Capri, they made me feel so welcome and at home. After a day of exploring Naples, I loved sharing my experiences of their amazing city with them. They encouraged me to speak in Italian, and I left with a renewed determination to improve my Italian speaking skills. So thank you Claudia, Anna Lisa, Rosy, Federica, and all the other wonderful staff. I can't wait to return to Naples and your great hotel.

The hotel was located in the perfect spot of Naples. It was very hard to find it at night because its big gate was closed and you had to ring a bell at outside to let the front desk (at 2nd floor in side) to open a tiny gate on the big gate to let you in. This was hard to know in the darkness because there was not much light out side the gate and it was hard to see the hotel sign in the darkness.

All in all, except for the perfect location, the hotel is very much average one. It was kind of unique setup when you looked it during the daytime :-)

The hotel was conveniently located, however, the street doesn't allow cars so luggage must be dragged to hotel, maybe a 1/4 mile, and the hotel is located up 2 long flights of stairs. It was a chore to get our luggage there. Nice staff, small hotel and small rooms without amenities such as shampoo/conditioner/lotion. Personally, I would stay somewhere else should I visit that region again

the hotel is a redone/reupurposed villa, oozing with charm. It's located just inside a pedestrian only area, so the hotel has both good(taxi) access and is very quiet. Convenient to funicular, metro Toledo station and the ferry docks, historic sites. Very interesting little restaurants, shops and lanes to explore. The staff was very helpful. I would definitely chose to stay here on a return trip to Naples.
Good WiFi, good breakfast. Nice to have the little sitting area off from the breakfast for gathering for excursions.

At first it is not easy to find this hotel so we were glad to have taken advantage of the 35 euro airport transfer where you are met at arrivals by a charming English speaking driver. The hotel booked us a taxi for the return that cost only 20 euros - lower than the official rate. All the staff are charming and the front desk team speak excellent English and are very helpful with advice o what to do and where to eat. The in-room wifi is very good but the wifi in the public areas is not good but this is not a problem. Breakfast was excellent, the public sitting area is comfortable as are the rooms. The only minor problem was with the shower door in our bathroom which allowed water through an onto the bathroom floor. It would have been useful to have another shelf for toiletries. The location is within easy walk of a funicular, the Toledo metro station, good restaurants and the San Carlo opera house. We strongly recommend it.

This lovely small hotel is located in the centre of Naples, in Via Chiaia. It is a bit far from the bus and train station (25-30 minutes walking) but there is another bus station near the harbor ('SITA bus' is the name of the company), which is only 10 minutes away.
We stayed here for only one night, but the staff was very kind and the rooms were lovely, although a bit small. Very clean hotel, located at the first floor of a house.
The hotel is five minutes away from San Carlo's theatre, Castelnuovo, and the Royal Palace.
