Stayed at this hotel in early March on girls weekend. This is a great area in Naples to stay, much cleaner underfoot that the middle and near great bars and nightlife. Room was lovely, staff great, breakfast fantastic. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We found this hotel on Trip Advisor after doing our homework amid concerns about Naples in general. Despite the unassuming entrance from a small cobbled side street, this hotel is a gem in a safe area. The hotel is immaculately clean. Our room was spotless, had a well stocked mini bar, the most comfortable bed, plenty of storage and a bathroom that had everything you would expect including complimentary slippers. The shower was splendid and invigorating. We stayed four nights and were very happy. The breakfast was superb with a great selection. The bar is great, with lovely appetisers served with your drinks. A tip is rather than buying two glasses of wine, buy a bottle, it's much cheaper and if you don't drink it, take it to your room and leave it in the mini bar. We saved a fortune doing this. The only let down was the indifferent, almost dismissive attitude of the reception staff, but don't let that out you off.

We chose this hotel for a recent 2 night stay in Naples based on the reviews and value for money.

The hotel itself is in a great location and on arrival found it clean and well presented. Think there was a bit of confusion as we arrived early and asked if we could leave the bags and check in later but they kept saying the rooms would be ready in 5 minutes and it would be easier to just drop our luggage there. Finally after an hour, one room was ready so we dumped all bags in there and checked into the second later on.

We were given free upgrades to Junior Suites (101 and 201) which were spacious and well appointed with large bathrooms with twin basins, shower and spa bath.

We ordered coffee on a couple of occasions and it arrived within a couple of minutes. Would have been better (and cheaper for us) to have tea and coffee facilities in the rooms but it wasn't a deal breaker.

The rooms appeared to have air conditioning but they didn't set very low, I would imagine the rooms would be very warm during the summer.

Breakfast was a buffet with the main parts set out on two tables. The main problems were if people were waiting for toast they blocked most of one table for everyone else so it would be better to have this on a separate table. Bowls and cutlery were in short supply so staff needed to be asked, I had to wait 10 mins for a cereal bowl then when I had my cereal realised there were no spoons so had another 10 minute wait for that. Also, the eggs and mini sausages ran out and another wait. May be more helpful if staff kept an eye on levels of food, crockery and cutlery so they were replenished before fully depleted.

Realised I have written a lot of this review negatively but to just take that on board would be unfair. The hotel deserves a very good rating and I would happily recommend it to others and visit again myself.

We chose this partly because of good reviews on Tripadvisor and were not disappointed. The entrance has chandeliers and orchids and elegance and the room was large and comfortable. We would have liked a bath, but the shower was fine and the bathroom comfortable and the toiletries good quality, The breakfast was good, a large choice of bread, pastries, fruit and other cold food as well as hot scrambled egg.
The hotel is within easy reach of the metro and funicular ( about ten minutes walk)
We only had one problem. We had taken the airport bus to the Port, and hailed a taxi in the street and were charged 21 euros, so if you are travelling from the airport or station ring the hotel for advice. When we left the hotel the taxi was only13 euros to the railway station.

A top class hotel well placed for bars, restaurants, shops, sea front & sight seeing. Friendly staff, spotlessly clean, comfy beds, well equipped bathroom and a superb breakfast. We were a group of 6, we had 3 double rooms all of them excellent. We were so pleased we chose this hotel, one of the best I have stayed in.

Room Tip: I think all rooms would be good in this hotel

We stayed at Palazzo Alabardieri during a weekend trip to Naples. We were a party of 8 people and all of us really liked the hotel. Apart from being a very clean and nice place this hotel is at the very heart of the city but yet it is at a very tranquil and peaceful corner. You are where the all buzz is and in less than a minute at your paradise. The hotel sent me an email immediately after booking for the rooms and provided very valuable assistance throughout our correspondence with regards to itineraries, dinner reservations etc. We were very happy to have chosen this hotel at the end of our trip.

We stayed for a 4 night holiday in Naples in February. We found this hotel to be an excellent choice and we obtained a good rate for a delightfully decorated Junior Suite. The hotel is an old Naples palazzo and the entrance is set back in a very unassuming manner from a small side street. Don't let this put you off though, because once inside the hotel is delightful with comfortable and spotless public rooms. Our room was very good, spacious and unusually for southern Italy, carpeted, with a large bathroom with full size Spa bath and shower in which all the plumbing worked as it should. Again unusual for Naples ! There was a large LCD TV, a minibar and a very comfortable bed. Being in the heart of crowded Naples, there are however no real views from the windows. The location, however, is great for exploring the city, set close to the Lungo Mare coastal strip, where there are many restaurants and in the heart of the Chaia area where there is posh shopping and again many bars and restaurants, which is good because the hotel has no evening dining. We didn't miss this as we enjoyed exploring different venues in town. breakfast was however, rather good, more choice than you often get in Italy and good quality.

The staff were very friendly and always willing to help you with whatever you need.

Thoroughly recommend this hotel for a stay in Naples
