Donna Regina is a perfect place to start to experience the unique history, culture and of course the food of Naples. The rooms are full of antique furnitures, clean and very comfortable. The traditional Napolitan breakfast served in the hotel, is very rich and delicious. Additionally , eating in that beautiful kitchen, decorated with precious ceramics, increases the taste of the pastry more and more. The staff, especially the owner, Domenico, is quite helpful in explaining and giving insights about the city. Rather than being only in a B&B, i felt like I lived in a huge, old Napolitan flat where i can also spend my time in its museum-like living room. The hotel is located in the heart of the city where is very convenient for being a starting point walking tours. I definitely recommend Donna Regina for an amazing and splendid Naples holidays.

Donna Regina is truly a hidden gem. The rooms as well as the food are fantastic. Service was impeccable and staff was super friendly and always willing to help in any way they could. The location of the B&B is also very close to shops and the art museum.

Donna Regina is truly a great place to stay and we will be back next September!

Thank you Mimo! Your hospitality is unmatched!

Dominic our host made us so welcome, even arranging late night food when places were shut and provides excellent advice on the city. Rooms are spotless, breakfast great, and the hall and 'salon' are quite stunning, with high walls covered in his family's art. Will go back

B’n’B Donna Regina is set in an ancient convent, located on Via Luigi Settembrini, 80, in the heart of the old town centre, close to the Duomo, the Archaeological Museum and some great restaurants and pizza places. I was greeted by Gabriella, who showed me round the art gallery, and allowed me a peep into all the other rooms. Each of the rooms is uniquely equipped with original and antique furnishings, superb original paintings, and have their own individual identity (most by Elio Mazzella, Domenic's father I think!).

The breakfast was traditional Italian fare, with lots of hot strong coffee to revitalise after a night on the lash!

Domenic, the owner, is a proud Neapolitan, advocating the cities quirky madness, and in your face attitude and scruffiness (don’t let that put you off visiting though) and pointed out some great places to eat and drink and visit. Overall it’s a fabulous place, just pray that the lift is working though!

I would strongly recommend this as a base to see Naples, and also to get down to Pompeii and the Amalfi coast.

Room Tip: The room I was in has a very beautiful, but narrow spiral staircase, which is difficult to navigate if you have any mobility or sight issues. The B'n'B is located on the 4th floor of an old convent, but pray the ancient rickety lift is working! All the rooms are unique and beautifully designed and fitted out.

We were visiting Donna Regina on a night, where they actually weren't open. But they accepted our stay anyway. We were greeted by a very nice host at 12 pm with an apology for not having any dinner for us (we weren't expecting dinner). Breakfast was really good and very local. Additionally, the interior was very distinct and incredibly cool. Paintings and art covering the whole apartment. Rooms were nice too but shouldn't be the purpose of your visit to Donna Regina.
