I Fiori di Napoli was a nice stay in Naples. We were nervous about being in Naples in the first place, but this was a nice place. They came in during the afternoon and washed all our towels and sheet and hung them outside on the line which was really nice, and they also turned on the air conditioning (which is free at this hotel!) which was glorious because it was burning hot outside. I don't know a whole lot about Naples but this area seemed fine, and it is conveniently close to the Toledo subway stop, which will take you straight to the Napoli Centrale train station. The roof area of this B&B which is open to all their guests is really beautiful and a nice place to relax at night. I would suggest this for solo travelers or friend groups who are within the younger age range, as it is certainly not a four-star type hotel. However, it was a very nice B&B and we really appreciated being able to stay here.

We stayed one night in Naples in December in the Sunflower room. The room was relatively cheap and clean, and the sunflower painting was very nice. Shared bathroom though which was not great. The owners weren't particularly welcoming and didn't seem to be expecting us. Nice old building in as others have noted a central location. Worth pointing out though that the three flights of stairs are long flights so probably best to avoid if you're carrying a lot of luggage. Didn't try the breakfast. In summary, fine for a cheap night's stay, but would probably look elsewhere and pay a bit more for a longer stay.

Fiori di Napoli was decidedly a mixed blessing. The location is great, the staff was very helpful with local off-the-beaten track restaurant reviews and suggestions, breakfast was limited but tasty, the rooms were small but clean, a computer with internet access is available, and the rooftop terrace was delightful. However, the 15 minute walk from the Metro requires bumping along narrow cobblestone sidewalks, and the final segment, up a steep street and then a climb to the third floor location - fourth by U.S. reckoning - is a challenge even with relatively little luggage. [We opted for a cab to the train station upon our departure.] The air conditioner in one of our two rooms did not work at first, though it was repaired before we left, and the hot water was somewhat uneven throughout our visit. We did feel we had experienced the flavor of Naples at this B & B, and the price was fair.

I had the pleasure to stay in "I fiori di Napoli" for a week and get to know Manuela and Roberta, amazing warm hosts, always helpful in helping my day planning, on request. Ah.. Ramon and Ivo are great people too! If you love travelling this is a great base to explore the city. Pignasecca market is only 2 minutes walking away: fresh fish, meat, vegetables, fruit and much more. Train, bus and metro stops are very near too. I will definitely go back as I already feel at home in "I Fiori di Napoli".

Ps if you are coeliac " Valu' ", a local restaurant in "Quartieri Spagnoli" makes wanderful gluten free risotto with vegeterian options, excellent value (5euros)

Stayed over the Easter weekend. Lovely place to stay. Good location and owners really helpful and with plenty of good advice on local eateries and trips. Home baking for breakfast a real bonus! Rooms comfortable and clean, roof terrace lovely.

the b&b is located in a great area of Naples, right next to the historical centre. i loved the lively atmosphere in the surrounding streets. our room was clean and lovely. the shower wasn't too reliable but in that heat i wasn't too disappointed of getting more cold water than hot. the breakfasts were amazing, with home made cakes and great coffee. the place has an amazing roof terrace, great place in the evening for relaxing, watching the stars in one of the deck chairs or in the hammock.

the place is located on the 4th floor, which might be a problem if you carry a huge suitcase or if you have any problems with climbing a lots of stairs. the owners have a cute dog but if you are afraid or allergic to dogs, you'd rather choose another place to stay. also, the neighbours are quite loud, so if you are not a good sleeper, it's also something you should consider while choosing a place to stay.

We selected this place based on reviews of the staff friendliness. Instead we were met with indifference when we arrived to near downright disinterest. We were shown our room and where the bathroom was but no mention about breakfast timing, nothing about the outside terrace or the wifi access. When enquiring about breakfast I was told it was between 9-10am. Given how hot it is and our plan to sightsee, we wished to eat a little earlier but the suggestion of 8am (would have preferred 7am) was met with 'no' from Roberta. Later this was modified and things were left out the night before for us to have breakfast in the morning. Further, the distinct smell of marijuana in the corridors at least once daily was disconcerting to say the least, let alone the owners and their friends actually smoking inside!
The room was clean, the bed fine. Room cleaning appeared to happen about 6pm (unusual when people are usually out during the day as tourists). No aircon in our room, but the fan was very welcome.
Noisy area with lots of street traffic
Certainly would try accomodation elsewhere should I return to Napoli
