“A fantastic place to stay while in Naples, Italy”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 June 2014

We decided to stay at this hotel for 9 nights because it's so conveniently close to Napoli Centrale, the train station, and we intended to travel outside Naples a lot. Sorrento, Salerno, Caserta, Amalfi + Ravello, Herculaneum, Pompeii, Villa Oplontis, Capri are all within easy reach. As a matter of fact, one doesn't even have to go outside the hotel complex to go to the station because there's a passageway, a galleria, linking the two.
Reception is open 24/7 and the hotel is extremely clean. Everything works perfectly and nothing is broken. Our air-conditioned room and en suite shower-room were quite large and comfortable. The room even had a large balcony! Breakfasts were delicious and featured such a wide variety of Neapolitan dolci (cakes).
But most of all the staff were really helpful and courteous, always greeting you with their gentle smile and always ready to provide information how to get to places we wanted to visit. In fact, we'd like to take this opportunity to thank Giuliano, one of the receptionists, for the interest he showed in us.
We really enjoyed our long stay in this hotel and in spite of the bad publicity Naples receives in the press, it's a city definitely worth visiting. The Capodimonte Museum is second only to the Uffizi in Florence and the Archaeological Museum is so rich with unique artefacts brought from Herculaeum and Pompeii. Not to mention the superb Gothic and Baroque churches. There are areas which may put off the visitor accustomed to spotless Austria and Switzerland but one can always steer away from them. And like in all other cities one has to careful.
Thank you all!

Room Tip: Our room faced Corso Meridionale, a very busy street, but with double insulation it was extremely qu...

Brand new hotel, located near the railstation and metro, so very convenient to visit naples and surroundings via circumvesuviana. Junior suite was spotless and incredibly large with a nice individual terrace, just probably missing an aditional table inside in case you bring something to eat from outside. Hotel is located in a small shopping gallery with a good pizzeria providing excellent value for price. Very good deal if you plan to visit both naples and pompei without any transportation hassle (airport bus stops at 200m from railstation). Breakfast was a continental, good quality, probably missing some hot meals, but perfect for me. One point to improve, the check-out at 11am is really unconvenient, so probably something to chanve, but definitely recommanded!

We have travelled a lot across Italy over the years but this was our first experience of Naples. We won't dwell on the frustrating contrast between the underlying beauty of the city and the obvious lack of investment or funding in the infrastructure. However, we stumbled across this recently opened small business hotel close to the station and enjoyed the very friendly, efficient and spotless oasis. Nothing fancy, but everything worked and good value for money. Would strongly recommend for a short stay or overnight transit hotel close to the centre.

Room Tip: We chose one of the junior suites on the top floor. Suggest that you check out on line deals direct...
