“Ideal Location”

Hotel Bellini is in a great location Just in the old Quarter yet right beside the New 'WIDE' roads and Shopping areas. The hotel is an Ideal City Break location and we paid a little extra for a room with a terrace and great view worth asking for this wher booking, breakfast was as good as you would get for a hotel like the Bellini good to get a start for your early morning walk. If getting a Taxi from the Airport let the Hotel organize it for you as the Taxi men will given a chance add plenty to your bill, on our return to the Airport it cost €16 we paid €30 going to the hotel. Keep a good eye on all the Traffic espically on the narrow streets, the Moped's are lethal. Remember new City TAX of €2 per person per night for your stay?.

Room Tip: book terrace on level 5 or 6

This is a lovely little hotel just a stone's throw away from the historic centre. We were able to walk to all major attractions from here. It's also safe, unlike some parts of naples and the staff very helpful in advising us about local attractions as well as where not to venture alone at night. Breakfast average but ok for the price. Rooms lovely and clean with AC. Friendly, welcoming staff. For the price very impressive.

I stayed at this hotel in late may. I wasn't sure what to expect but was quite impressed at the end of the stay. The room was wonderful, it had high ceilings and was very spacious. I had the one with the octopus painting in it. The AC worked well for the room size and was both remote controlled and had temperature adjustments. The bed was large and plenty of extra room for luggage and the like. The room had its own balcony overlooking the entry courtyard. The entry itself is gated and secured with a 24 hour desk. Breakfast was wonderful and everything is centrally located. It's a moderate walk to the docks and a short walk to the museum with stuff from Pompeii in it. Everything else in the historic district is also a short walk and the main train station is nearby. Piazza Bellini itself is also quite beautiful and easy to find. Make sure while your there you stop by a gay Odin chocolate shop. My room was 85 euro a night,a!steal for what you get compared to other places.

Having made a disatrous journey from Rome to Naples (without the help of a sat nav!) we were delighted to finally reach Hotel Piazza Bellini! It's a lovely spot, the courtyard is so pretty and a lovely place to pass the time sipping prosecco as I did! The rooms are quite big as were the bathrooms. The breakfast was good and the staff were really helpful. Would definitely recommend this place to others planning a stop in Naples.

We stayed in this charming hotel for 4 nights and and were happy to have chosen this hotel in spite of the prices being a bit exagirated comparing to average price for Naples' hotels. It is a real refuge in the heart of Napoli. Having made our trip there by metro and being already sort of repulsed from Napoli, we there happy to find ourselves in this oasis of comfort. Good location, very comfortable clean rooms, nice atmoshere, very pleasent to have breakfast in a beautiful patio, it makes your day. Really it is an oasis which helps to improve your impression about Napoli.
It would be perfect if they provided a real italian coffee for breakfast. What they offer is just a shame!
Napoli seems dangerous, but in fact we spent a lot of night hours in its dark side streets, full of strange people, but nothing ever happened.
If you want to have a pleasent stay in Napoli, first advice would be - dont't book the hotel in the central station aria even if the prices there seem to be appealing and it is convinient.
Don't forget to take a pleasent stroll along a seaside promanade, it is a very different Napoli.

Room Tip: Some rooms have balcony, some not. If you want to have one, you should specify it when booking.

We stayed 3 nights in room 607 which has a lovely terrace overlooking the Vesuvius. Overall our stay has been very pleasant.

Good points:
- Location: central and very close to Dante subway station
- Front desk: very efficient, they quickly changed the bed sheets to get twin beds upon request
- Room: clean, comfy beds, plenty of space to store your luggage
- Air conditioning: quiet at low speed, although it stops when you open the window

Downsides:
- Bathroom: unpleasant smell and minimal amenities (tissues would be a great addition)
- Internet: free of charge but no wifi in the room, you have to use a cable (supplied when checking-in)
- Breakfast: so and so

Just next door, the restaurant La Stanza del Gusto is a must-try.

I agree to everything that was said in the other reviews. The hotel is located in a privileged place near all the important places of the historical center of Naples. The 'Piazza Bellini' is really an oasis just in the middle of the tumultuated Naples center life.

Great breakfast with many options, clean rooms and a very friendly staff.

Free wireless internet access and two computers in the lobby, and cable internet in some rooms.

A good choice, considering the prices, if you want to stay near the 'Centro Storico'.
