Piazza Bellini is a very nice hotel in the heart of the central area of Naples. has several churches close by, and also eating places, including an excellent coffee place and a buffet restaurant ((L'etto) just beside with discounts given to hotel guests. The rooms are clean and all the basic amenities are provided including a very comfortable bed. Breakfast is good and fresh every day. There is a small courtyard outside which is nice to lounge away. They have a taxi service which assures fixed rates which is a boon in Naples. The rooms however can be made a bit more luxurious going a bit beyond just the necessary for the price.

We chose the hotel because we trusted the reviews, the hotel looked nice and was quite, but the room was very uncomfortable, the beds and the pillows were very hard, the AC unit was very noisy, the bathroom was the worse not clean at all. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Wonderful location just steps away from the archeological museum. Our family of three was primarily interested in visiting the museum and doing a day trips to Pompeii and Vesuvius. This hotel was perfect. It was easy to venture out on foot in the evenings into local neighbourhoods for really interesting restaurants. Room was spacious and clean and had a tiny balcony overlooking the street. Steep stairs in the loft-style, two-level room might not suit everyone but didn’t pose any problems for us. Very large bathroom with great shower. Especially helpful staff at the front desk were always welcoming and ready to answer our questions. Would stay here again.

Room Tip: Our room on the front had a delightful little balcony overlooking the street for wonderful people wa...

We went to Italy with family and my sister and I (both adults) wanted to see Pompeii. Our family was concerned due to the "crime in Naples". My sister and I took a cab from the train station to this quaint hotel. The hotel was extremely safe and had it's own courtyard. Only the hotel staff could "buzz you in". We booked a tour of Pompeii and while visiting Pompeii, got separated from the tour. We called the hotel- they found our tour guide and coordinated our rescue. The room was clean and modern. The free breakfast was outstanding. Yummy. We went walking to several restaurants in Naples that the hotel staff recommended. Always felt safe. The hotel is not too far from a police station, and we noticed many officers on our walks. Many restaurants are closed Sunday, but we ate at the hotel on Sunday and it was very good. Superb!!

Room Tip: We stayed in a triple, very nice! Although it overlooked the piazza, we slept through the night and...

We were just staying in Naples for 1 day and 1 night on route . Taxi took about 15 minutes from Port (traffic in Naples is insane ) Upon arriving we were told we had been upgraded to a room with a terrace . It was lovely just added to the whole feel of this hotel . A lovely court yard a great location and in the morning before a 20 min ride to airport a lovely breakfast .

Room Tip: The room 607 had a terrace and a view looking out to Vesuvius.

We had a fantastic trip to Naples and our choice of Hotel Piazza Bellini was key to this. While Naples is chaotic and frantic, the hotel was always quiet, peaceful and beautifully clean. Exactly the antidote needed after a day of dodging mopeds and soaking up all the city has to offer! The staff were always incredibly helpful and one even rang his coeliac friend to find out the best places to eat wheat-free in Naples! For breakfast, there was also a little basket ready for me containing gluten-free goodies, plus a wide range of other choices - delicious. My personal favourite thing about the hotel was it's take on the graffiti which is widespread across the city - chalk boards were everywhere allowing guests to doodle and even the mugs were made of chalk board so you could write on them - chalk was left at the breakfast table for guests to get creative! The whole place was beautifully thought out and even our standard room had a lovely little balcony over the charming courtyard. Set in the older part of Naples and amidst the lively atmosphere of Piazza Bellini, this is a great area from which to explore Naples with lots of restaurants and things to see nearby. We will definitely be back!

Room Tip: Our room, despite overlooking the courtyard, was very quiet and peaceful. They must have very good d...

Great hotel and location!! The piazza Bellini is just live and attraction place with many musicians around at every evening. No noise at all for hotel's guests. Many restaurants are on plaza for every taste. The hotel is charming especially a court yard with a little fountain and the breakfast room with delicious breakfast and selections of coffee. The room is good size and shower is excellent. Cozy, warm and quiet place. 5 minute walk from the main Toledo street. We booked a room with a terrace and not only admired Vesuvius every morning but have a bottle of wine and rested on long chairs after hard day of touristic plans. No regrets about our choice and price is very reasonable.
