This apartment was a well appointed renovation in an older block, just out of the Central Storico and about a 10 minutes walk from the nearest Line 1 metro. If you're ok with hiking Naples' hills it's a good location; if not cabs from P. Garibaldi cost €10 -20 depending on traffic.
The main bedroom faces west but shutters allow you to block out western light. Same for the large living area. There's plenty of room so you're not living on top of each other. A busy street is generally blocked by double glazing. There are two ok local restaurants each a short walk from the apartment.
My only criticisms are an absence of decent wine glasses and a lack of dish washer tablets (at least I could not find them), minor inconveniences in an otherwise comfortable apartment in a city which is not one of my favourites, but which we used as a base for a number of excursions.
