We had lunch at this restaurant in May, while our tour party was visiting Vesuvius and the ruins. The service was speedy and the food was simple. Everyone had a plate of salad and a pizza between two and at 10 euros per person, including a drink, this was good value. It is a popular place to eat and so quite full. The only other feature to point out is the step up from the restaurant to the corridor where the toilets are situated. This is an accident waiting to happen. In fact, my wife tripped on it and fell badly, knocking herself out and needing stitches and X-rays at the hospital in Castelamare. But for the kindness of Raimondo in helping at the hospital and acting as a taxi service, we should have been in an awful situation. By coincidence, another woman in our tour party tripped over the same step at the same meal. A simple ramp would avoid this problem. Take care when you visit.
