Stayed here for 4 nights in mid April and can't fault anything about the place, room was a good size and had a balcony, reception staff were extremely helpful and always cheerful, lovely outside garden surrounded by lemon trees. Never tried the restaurant other than breakfast which was good and plentiful, hotel couldn't be more ideal for the ruins as it's across the road from the side entrance, wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

I've never been in jail, but I would equate our room as a step up from cell block B. The front entry is surely inviting, but upon entry to the room it was less than be desired. My wife and I are used to staying both low end and very high end hotels, and this time we were your typical backpackers looking for a nice place to lay down. Cold and sterile rooms, hard uncomfortable bed, closet sized bathroom...... Not recommended at all...... Save your money

Stayed for one night after a day viewing the ruins. Located just outside one of the entrances (near the Amphitheatre) so couldn't be more convenient. Parking in a public car park opposite included in cost and at £60Euros per room per night very good value. We had two rooms for four of us, a double (38) which was a bit small but had a balcony with a reasonable view of Vesuvius. The other was the disabled room (43) just off the reception. That was a bit noisy and wouldn't have wanted to stay there for more than the one night. Only criticism is that I never like those towells that you get that are more like tea towells than proper bathroom ones! Restaurant was nice with a fair choice at good value and breakfast OK. All in all a very good base if you're there for the ruins.

Beautiful and romantic hotel in front of the Pompei ruins Coliseum entrance. Nice garden plenty of grapefruit trees that becomes the protagonist of the breakfast saloon.
The rooms are little bit aged (80's) but correct.

The forum hotel is a reasonably priced hotel near one of the entrances to Pompeii. The staff were excellent and couldn't be more helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The restaurant was good. Overall a good value for money hotel that whose location is great for visiting Pompeii.

My fiance & I stayed for 1 night on a stopover between Calabria & Rome to visit the Pompeii ruins. The hotel is literally across the street from one of the entrances to the ruins so the location was great, the only downfall was that it was a bit of a walk from the train station with heavy luggage. The room was modern, clean, comfortable and had a nice large flat screen tv & a big bathtub (both rarities in Italy). The front desk staff was very helpful in providing nearby restaurant recommendations & also allowing us to store luggage there while we toured the ruins on the morning of our departure. This place was a great value for the price & we will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Pompeii.
