We have just returned from an amazing stay in Pompeii, the hotel was wonderful, the staff helpful and attentive. The garden area and bar are a tranquil and beautiful place to enjoy a quiet drink only meters from the hustle and bustle of central Pompeii and the ruins. Prior to arriving the the hotel staff assisted me in arranging a Birthday surprise for my husband which was very succesful.I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

The reasonable price for this hotel caused some skepticism on our part - the reviews seemed almost too good in relation to the moderate price. But we were extremely pleased with our room and with the hotel in general. The room was spacious and comfortable. It was in the front of the hotel so we were subject to noisy conversations and beeping car horns, but we actually enjoyed the liveliness. We had a large bathroom and a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was great and even included eggs and sausages. We were directly across the street from the ruins of the old city, and the hotel is only about 40 minutes from Sorrento and the spectacular Amalfi Coast. The hotel employees were fantastic and made us feel extremely welcome.

excellent hotel on a perfect location when visiting pompei. free parking, free wifi, quiet seating in the evening outside in the backyard, friendly personnel. breakfast can be enjoyed outside on a quiet terrace, but needs more phantasy, and the beakfast-room (in the basement overlooking a garden) needs a makeover.

Hotel Forum was excellent value - we paid 55 euros per night for a double room. The room had a balcony and ensuite. It was clean and tidy if a bit green! The garden was lovely with lemon trees, gentle music and good seating area. We were served lovely canapes in the bar with drinks. When I was stranded due to delays and not even staying here the very helpful receptionist allowed me free internet access so that I could try and book alternative travel arrangements. A good choice at breakfast - but sometimes it just meant getting there at the right time to get the eggs and sausages. We would stay here again - an elegant hotel on the whole.

DON'T ACCEPT ROOM 43!!! IT'S ON THE GROUND FLOOR RIGHT NEXT TO THE BAR AND QUITE NOISY. I wish someone had written this before our visit. Otherwise we agree with other reports.

Lovely comfortable room after a long interesting day in the ruins of Pompeii. Stayed in a junior suite, a good size for three people. Inviting outdoor common spaces. Nice town to explore as well.
