“LOCATION”

My family enjoyed their stay at this hotel mainly because it was located right in front of the Pompeii Ruins. We had a small balcony that allowed us to see the ruins (right beside us). The people were kind and very helpful. Unfortunately our television didn't work which disappointed the kids (satelite problems we were told) but our a/c did work which was much more important to us. Breakfast was very good. Tour groups stopped in to eat at the hotel. It was the main stopping point for bus tours so all your souvenier needs were right in front of the hotel.

Daniela and Tina at the front desk were absolutely awesome!! Such nice and helpful ladies. Breakfast was very good (fresh bread, fresh fruit juice...really!! tasted like it was freshly squeezed that morning, yoghurt, cereal, ham and other cold cuts, etc.) as well and was included with the room price. Didn't get a chance to try the hotel restaurant. Rooms were large, clean and price was affordable for our family of five. We will definitely go back when we return to Pompeii, Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast. Hotel Vittoria is lucky to have Daniela and Tina working the front desk!!

two of us arrived separately by motorcycle late evening, staff very friendly and efficient, lady on the reception was a star.secure parking for the bikes. Nice room although air con was poor, breakfast could have been improved upon, but was ok with good coffee !
would stay again as cost reflected slight negatives but best thing about the hotel was the attentive staff and location.

Room Tip: you want to be away from road on ruins side for quiteness and views

This is an “open air” coffee shop/snack bar, outside the ruins of Pompeii, run by Hotel Vittoria. My complaint was with the bathroom facilities. There was construction material basically blocking the door to the toilets. I squeezed my way around it. There were no lights on for the 3 stalls and no soap or towels to use to wash your hands. Then the worst thing was the pile of dog feces on the floor as you walked out of the place. We had croissants, tea and coffee there before the bathroom; hopefully the food facilities are cleaner.

Location very good next to the ruins. In the evening after 7pm when the tourists are gone everything is closed and the only thing left behind is a lot of rubbish displayed all over the main square.
Old hotel with large rooms with fridge and safe, but the hotel urgently needs to be renovated. Take a look at the pictures and you see how most of the hotel rooms and terraces look like!
We were lucky to have a terrace without the obstructing gate in between but already with the check inn our balcony was very dirty and also the next day they did not even bother to clean it . The cleaning lady was not on the terrace otherwise our ash tray would have been cleaned.
Breakfast is not so bad, but eating your breakfast amongst different tables who are not been cleared from the former people who sat there is not so pleasant.
Also the carpet at the stairway needed to be cleaned urgently evenso the ashtrays at the top of the stairs. Therefore I rate this as a 2* hotel!
The hotel has different facilities like a shop, a self-service restaurant and a internet corner, but the service is zero!
The food in the self-service was eatable but watery.
The 2 men who were on the desk in the afternoon and evening were friendly but the 3 women upon check-out preferred to continue their chat and they checked us out without saying any other word other than the price we had to pay. We never had an experience as worse as this!
Don't stay here unless you have no other choice!!

I didn't stay at the hotel, but my tour group stopped at this place for a snack break before walking through the ruins of Pompei. Stores were well-stocked with souvenirs and the cafe/restaurant had the best pizza margarita and lemon gelato that I've ever had. Hopefully I'll have a chance to spend the night there and give this place another star.

Large comfortable room. Excellent service. Nice breakfast. Parking lot. The hotel is literally right next to the Pompei site.
Highly recommended.
