This hostel was mostly clean and well-kept, but my group did come across a few problems. Upon arrival, in very cold weather, we realized that our rooms had no working heat or hot water, which was defintely a negative. The reception said that there was a problem with pipes that had occurred just hours before we came. I would absolutely reccommend bringing your own blanket, incase these problems happen again. Those of us without blankets to spare had difficulty sleeping in the ice cold air. Some of the bedding we were supplied with had "mystery stains", but I suppose you get what you pay for.
Overall, the trip was great, but the accommadations could have been better. If you are looking for some place to stay on a budget, I would reccommend packing a blanket and visiting Casa del Pellegrino.
