After a long walk, almost 2km, I reckon, we finally found the excavations. Don't expect signs - there aren't any. There may be, but they're well hidden.
Anyway, there are two sites about 500m apart. If and when you get there, you'll be rewarded for your effort. The villas are magnificent, and show how the wealthy lived. Friendly guardian.
Toilets, but no other facilities, so take food and drink with you.
The walk back was much quicker as there was a shortcut via a dirty and smelly service road, which we had walked past on the way back.
