The village of Corricella can best be described as unchanged from 50 or more years ago.
We walked down the narrow street towards the little harbour and were greeted by the view of a fisherman sitting on his boat mending his nets and the sound of children splashing about in the water. It was surreal because you don't think that such places still exist.
Despite being the background for the Oscar winning film "Il Postino", the village has remained natural and unspoilt and we spent a couple of hours just drinking in the atmosphere sitting on the harbour. Bliss !
