We stayed here for a week, using it as a relaxing base to explore Napoli, Ischia & Pompeii.

Procida is a gorgeous little island with killer views, crystal clear water and fantastic food.

Case sul mare is in the best location (close to great restaurants, the best views and a quick walk to the port), the rooms are lovely with terraces that face directly onto the sea with views to die for, the staff are very helpful and some speak excellent English.

Breakfast is delicious with fresh fruit, fresh juice, good coffee, tea, bread, croissants, home made cake and marmalade. And the garden setting is so beautiful, you can sit there and look at the view for ages while you breakfast.

The company they recommend for scooter/car hire is great, we hired both during our stay but I'd recommend a large scooter as its easier to park and let's you go on those tiny streets!

The only downsides are the noise from people on the terraces either side of you, and the noisy aircon. There's free wifi but they no longer pick you up from the port, and the taxi is 15-18 euro. We didn't agree with their recommendation for best restaurant - try la pergola or la lampara for the best food and overall experience.

I would definitely stay here again, we had a magical week here and were very sad to leave!

Our second trip to beautiful La Casa Sul Mare this year and as expected we loved every minute!
The views over Corricella alone are worth the stay!
The owners Franco and Giovanna - what a pleasure it has been to get to know you both. You made our visit so special.
The girls on reception - Samanta, Giovanna, Mariateresa - you are all gorgeous!

La Casa Sul Mare has become a 'home away from home' for us and we can't wait to return. We wish it was not so far away!!!
We have missed our breakfasts in the garden with Franco every morning - what a perfect host! Giovanna A's beautiful cakes and pastries are such a treat - still warm from the oven if you get up early enough.

We love La Casa Sul Mare and Procida!

Ciao and grazie mille

First and foremost any negative review either about Procida or Casa Sul Mare will only be posted by souless individuals. The island is beautiful and non commercial which is such a relief. The food at every restaurant is so fresh and light and the local wine is so crisp and chilled. My wife and I and 50 or so english guests made our way to Procida for a friends wedding. Every room at Casa sul Mare was taken over by wedding guests and we could not have been made more welcome. The staff were so helpful and attentive. The hotlel itself is stunning. our room had a wonderful ornate iron bed and antique furniture at every turn. The breakfast is what you expect from a coninental hotel. Meats, breads etc and was fine. The breakfast/bar garden however was amazing. Having an ice cold Peroni while sitting in that garden was an absolute pleasure and a memory I will never forget.

If you have an interesting bone in your body get yourself over there. If you are boring and souless dont bother. The island is better off without you!!

I will be going back!!!

Room Tip: We had room 303 and the veiw was breathtaking!

We spent five nights in this charming hotel of only ten rooms. The view to the little harbor was spectacular and colorful; our favourite restaurant there was the Gorgonia. The service in the hotel was perfectly friendly and helpful. If you should go there don't miss to eat the Marmelatta di Limoni for breakfast. Hiking on the little island is a bit of a challenge in the narrow streets with quite some traffic. Still: Procida and La Casa sul Mare are a good choice for going back to (as a friend of ours said) the Italy of 50 years ago.
