We stayed at this hotel and found it to be perfect in every way. The staff were very helpful, the rooms spotless and well furnished and the location is perfect. We travelled with our teenage kids and asked for a twin room close to ours which is exactly what we got. We had no problem getting a table in the breakfast room and there was a great selection on offer.

The only slight issue we had was that our room was not serviced on the first day but it was not a major issue. When we asked for clean towels they arrived promptly.

We followed the advice we had read in other reviews and went out early (around 8pm) to see the Trevi fountain and it was well worth it - very quiet and a great chance for photos.

We would highly recommend this hotel and would certainly stay there again.

We were traveling with our daughter and her husband, and we ordered superiore rooms before arrivel. I'm wondering what regular rooms look like, because our room were small. We had no problem at breakfast, there were enough tables. The food could be bether. Why can't they make you a good cup of coffee when you ask. They only used the coffeemaskin, even when we asked for some other coffee, and we do not think that's good coffee. The bathroom was worn and corrosion, and the amenities was full of watermarks (looked nasty) I'm sorry, but I'm not sure if I'll ever come back. we had problems with the safe in bouth rooms.

Room Tip: Very centrally, 20 minutes from Coloseum and 35 minutes from St. Peters dome

ROOM WAS A NIGHTMARE! Here is our list. We have photos of each of these issues:
-No blankets. Only single sheet on beds.
-No replacement cups second night
- toilet seat too short for toilet. Exposed porcelain base.
-sink drain pulled out if sink by staff.
- Shower head pole not attached. If shower head is moved, pole falls out of socket.
- Shower drain cover not over drain. Laying loose on shower floor. Shower base fills with water. Loose drain cover floats around during shower. Sharp points. Had to avoid stepping on it during shower.
-Only 1 tiny bar of soap for shower & sink. Had to purchase bar of soap.
- no soap dish for bar soap in shower.
-Mold in grout in shower.
-No wash cloths.
-**No hot water 2nd night. Told to wait 20 min for hot h20 but already wet in shower!! Still no hot water 45 min. later. 11:28 PM Husband could not wait. Had to take cold shower. Back problems. Needed hot water to sooth back. Cold water made condition worse.
-Shower doors leaked from both sides. Floor dangerously wet & slippery. Had to use towels to soak up water. Had to request replacement towels. No extra towels left second day to soak up water.
-No tissues
-Mrs. Couldn't wash hair. Hair blower overheats after a couple of minutes. Unusable for realistic amount of time.
-Terrible inadequate lighting in bathroom especially over sink. Any personal grooming/ shaving/makeup application in bathroom impossible.
-Only mirror in room mounted so high, normal height person could barely see in it.
-Lamp & sconce bulbs out.
-Sconce shades have burn marks from bulbs.
-No instrx in room as to how to contact front desk.
-Missing drawer pull nightstand.
-Tiny cramped room. Way too small for two single beds!
-Positive: front desk always pleasant & did all they could to be helpful with issues brought to them during our stay.

Room Tip: For a good room, stay away from this hotel!

I had a pre-paid reservation made at Boutique Trevi Hotel. Upon arrival the Boutique Trevi Hotel said that they didn't have my reservation at all. I showed them my confirmation sheet and number and they said "no, we don't have that." They quickly called a cab and conveniently shuffled us off to a "comparable" hotel. Being in a foreign country and also during Rome's high tourist season, we were unable to find a room anywhere and got stuck staying at place that didn't even have a lock on the door. We piled all of our luggage up against the door so that no one could get in our room. It was an awful experience- do not ever trust this hotel!!!! They will lose your reservation and send you off to a horrible place with out a second thought!!!

I was very nervous reading some of the other reviews. I am a fussy person, we stayed in room 305 and on the whole i think the reviews have been harsh, the decor was lovely and wifi was no problem, there could have been better attention to cleanliness but it was by no means bad e.g dust on lamp shades and some black mould on the shower fixture on the wall. The other criticism I would agree with is our room was not cleaned till late we came back extremely tired at 4 the room not cleaned we went out again for a while while it was done. The breakfast was fine and we had no problem finding a table as other reviews suggested, a traditional italian breakfast was served with plenty of choice. However having had a couple of moans the location more than made up for all of them we could walk everywhere. The Trevi fountain was 30 sec walk, the pantheon was approx 5 mins, the collosseum 15 mins. The taxi from the airport is a fixed price we paid 48 euros. I would recommend this hotel.

We stayed for 8 days at the Boutique Hotel Trevi, in a standard double room.
The location was excellent, literally in the middle of the town. You can reach all the main attractions within minutes walk.
The room was cleaned everyday, but very late. I believe the cleaning ladies don't know about the balcony, for not even swept the entire period we were there.
For a 4 stars hotel, there are no glass cups, plastic only. Friendly staff at the reception. The promised Wi-Fi wasn't working not even after my third complaint. The breakfast was the same every day, but the real problem was related to the coffee/tea machine, which breaks every 2 minutes and needs to be reset.
Go to the Trevi fountain only in the morning, I mean at 6 AM, because during the day it's impossible. There is a great shop, Forno Antico, at the corner of the street, as you go to the fountain. They had the best pizza and sandwiches, and the prices are mediums.

Room Tip: There are 6 rooms of different types on the flour, from x01 to x06. We stayed in a x05 room, which h...

we spent 3 nights there and even if the hotel is small : lobby, restaurant, rooms etc it is very well located and you can do a lot of things by foot.
Be careffull in the morning there are not enough table you need to choose the right time but the food is excelent and the team very nice.
Rooms are cleaned and calm but small. Despite a bad start (our rooms were not ready) we had a nice stay a big thank you to Emiliano and Joel for their kindness and great profesionalism the reception team gave us many very good advices to enjoy the area and Rome
I recomend the place
