This is a fine and reasonably priced Sardinian fish place that does not disappoint. Don't let the walk deep into Esquilino keep you away. You'll be rewarded with very good service and very few tourists. If you love fish, you'll love this.

We stumbled across this restaurant after the restaurant we wanted to dine in was full. What a lucky find. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. We both had a seafood pasta and dessert as well as shared a bottle of wine. The staff were attentive but not intrusive and were very polite. We would recommend this restaurant if you love seafood and want a quiet and pleasant dining experience.

On a recent vacation in Rome we thought we would have some seafood one night and were advised to try this place. It was one of the best meals we had and the place was full of local families. Excellent risotto and white wine, very good prices for what you get!

We were invited for a meal to Baia Chia by our friend who now lives in Rome for years. Our meal consisted of selection of seafood to start followed by prawn risotto and fish cooked in salt. It was beautiful and fresh and there was so much of it !

The staff was amazing. Our waiters were two guys from Nepal so in case they happen to read it just want to say Thanks a lot !

We had house white wine which is restaurant exclusive and so delicious. I actually don't like white wine but this one - I would be able to drink all night ! To finish we had refreshing sorbet and selection of gorgeous (and very fresh) almond biscuits. We also got to taste grappa (italian brandy) and Mirto (herbal liqueur from Sardinia & Corsica). Absolutely recommend this restaurant !

The service was lacklustre and cold. We had a half bottle of house wine and it was the first time that we had left with the wine unfinished in Italy. The food was mediocre. We shared a proscuitto e melon that looked more like it came out of a home kitchen than restaurant. It was just a few wedges of melon with the ham thrown on top and then served to us. My husband had a pasta dish that I can't remember now because it was so ordinary. And I had the grilled mixed seafood, which was also very ordinary. All in all a disappointing meal because it was our last night in Rome and we were hoping to have a nice finale to our trip.
