“The best restaurant in Rome for sea food!”
Reviewed 13 January 2013 via mobile

Tipical Italian place, where you shouldn't use a menu. Every time I am in Rome, I come to Capo boi to enjoy the excellent fresh sea food, fish, crudi and atmosphere of the restaurant. I adore it!
Highly recommend risotto alla crema di scampi, pasta con la bottarga e fiori di zucca, antipasti crudi e cotti.

“Going down hill”
Reviewed 21 November 2012

This used to be one of our 'go to' seafood restaurants. After not having been there for a while, we returned a couple of weeks ago. While before I felt like the environment was intimate and chic, now it just felt crowed and sort of shabby.
The offerings of the food hadn't changed at all, but the quality had. The raw appetizers were lacking in flavor and the shrimp actually had a bit of an odor, so we decided to leave them.
We skipped pasta and went to the second, which was extremely dry.
All in all, it was the same high price for food that was not at all at the level that it was once was, nowhere near as good as other seafood restaurants in Rome and, more specifically, in the neighborhood.
Sad to say I wouldn't recommend this anymore.

“always a great value for money”
Reviewed 15 October 2012 via Local Picks

Always a great value for money place. Fresh seafood, traditionl recipes in a modern style place. Good service, warm atmosphere and reasonable price for a good seafood restaurant. A full range of good appetizers, rich pasta dishes and well cooked main courses. Traditional sardinian cookies and Mirto at the end.

don't miss it if you are in town

A bit noisy when full.

“Wonderfull food, great ambiance, great service. A Little noisy”
Reviewed 12 May 2012

Sardinian Restaurant, very good and very well located. The neighborhood around it is very nice. I Tasted some 4 or 5 different appetaizers and they were all superb. My sardinian style past was great and dessert wasalso very good. Would go back many times. Only "but'is that it is a small place with too many tables so it is sort of noisy.

“the best seafood”
Reviewed 30 March 2012

we had lunch at this local restaurant and enjoyed it so much we went back a second time. Carpaccio of seabass and the steamed mussels and clams were great appetizers. any of the grilled fish main courses are good and the seafood risotto was excellent. when you arrive they automatically pour you a glass of prosecco (on the house). lots of business people at lunch and it fills up fast.
