Found by chance when searching for a restaurant on our first night. Lovely cozy restaurant, incredibly helpful and attentive staff and overall some great food! Particularly loved the fish risotto!! So glad we stumbled across it!! :-)

We have been there several times and were never disappointed. Try the sardinian or the fish menu. They include several courses, water, coffee and grappa. A typical hostsria with good prices.

Very welcoming staff, and all our fellow patrons seemed to have a great time, despite some obvious language barriers. The antipasto dishes we tried were average to very good. The pastas were fresher than average, but our favourites were the risotto w/ wine sauce, the wild boar, and the tiramisu. Efficient and relaxed service. We went teo mights in a row, as had a number of Italian tourists. Prices very fair.

We chanced upon this trattoria on our first day in Rome and was pleased that we decided to take our chances with it and had lunch there. The place is a little beaten up, but rustic. Service was very good, the friendly waiter made great recommendations and was attentive throughout (good thing they weren't busy). The food was simple, authentic and unpretentious.

We stumbled upon this tucked away little restaurant off the Via Nazionale on our second to last night in Rome. It was a charming, traditional eaterie with a good selection of food and wine and very friendly staff. I would particularly recommend the red wine risotto - it was the Best meal I had during our stay!
