It seems as if we were not welcome at all. We had carbonara ( too salty and in other restaurants you will have much better ones) and spaghetti with sea food (small plate and not really appetizing).
The place is really nice but we felt stressed and uncomfortable.

Our hotel recommended this restaurant and I am really glad we went!
The pasta was the best in our stay in Rome and the same can be said about the pizza. The atmosphere was really amazing with the place packed with locals friday night! "Always trust the locals, and go where they go" seems to be something that really fits this place!
The prices was low and the value was really great!

Needless to say; we came back, and will certainly eat here when we come back to Rome!

Friday night with most tables occupied by locals was special. The service was excellent and the Bresaola-Rughetta-Parmigiano pizza well worth the visit.

We stopped in for an early lunch because it was raining hard, and we hoped to sit out the rain before exploring the neighborhood. The restaurant was empty (possibly not even open yet), but the staff welcomed us with open arms. We had no specific expectations, but we were delighted with our lunch. We started with a simple green salad, and then shared a roman-style artichoke. The artichoke was perfect... tender, lightly marinated and mildly seasoned, and so carefully trimmed that we ate everything in the plate-- even the stem. We followed up with a delicious pizza Bianca with fresh porcini mushrooms. A very solid meal in Trastavere: this is the kind of place where we might be regulars if we lived nearby. In other words, it's not a special occasion restaurant, but the service was good, the prices were reasonable, and the food hits the spot.

We were a bit apprehensive about trying here after reading some negative reviews, though our hotel recommended it. When we arrived it was busy, mainly tourists and we had to wait for a while. Once seated service was efficient and we enjoyed a couple of woodfired pizzas.
