The restaurant is very similar to those in the area: tipical Italian food, including pizzas, relatively simple design, tables in the street etc. However, both the food and the service had an above-average performance. We appreciated that the friendliness of the staff was not exaggerated, as it happens very often in tourism-dominated places. The food was obviously not haute cuisine, but very good for the standards of this type of restaurants.

Amazing food for a good price. Waiters do their very best to make sure you have everything you need or want. Service was quick and food was delicious.

Again, our second night in the Termini area of Rome highly populated by hotels and eateries of all levels, hot on the prowl for a nosh after an all-day's hike of ancient Colosseum/Forum sites all the way up to the Spanish Steps, all in mid-July with gloriously sweaty heat and sunshine. The many trattorria and ristorantia make it hard to choose, so we succumbed to the sales pitch from two otherwise languid waiters at this place. One sized each of us up pretty well, sat us on the corner table outside and warned us away from the traditional veal scallepini or spaghetti bolognese toward meat and fish mains, with light appetizers. So, the prosciutto with mozzarella and the smoked salmon antipasti were up. Each was simple, and superb, with a generous mound of that buffalo soft cheese served with delectably cured smoked ham, while the salmon was fresh, flavourful and abundant. Even our teenaged girls got into those, along with the focaccia and olive oil and balsamic. Mains for the girls, was scrumptious and hot pizza margherita and con fromaggio - basically a slightly larger focaccia with a tangy tomato sauce and cheese base - but they loved the contrast with the denser Canadian sort they're used to. As for the adults, the beef tenderloin with local organic mushrooms special, and the spiced whole sea bass were a hit and shared among the four of us. All washed away with a bottle of sparkling water and another of chianti Classico. €90 without tip.

Dinner with my kids. Food came quickly - which I would give 6 out of 10 because eventhough it tasted good, the shrimps in my son's pasta was far from fresh and a couple of the clams in my pasta did not open, then my son ordered a mixed ice cream dessert, which they put a coffee flavoured ice cream in, that most children don't like! Apart from that, our cakes were yummy and my daughter's steak with baked potatoes were okay.

Rossi Tiziano is not "haut cuisine" - but it is a very special place for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Located among many 3-star hotels, it is extremely popular, perhaps because of its corner location, and the fact that it is bright and breezy.
The staff are welcoming and friendly - during a hot afternoon, sit inside to enjoy the air- conditioned environment (and the attentive service of Giorgia) - on a balmy evening, sit outside on the Via Palestro where Jamal or Elvis will attend to your every wish.
I just loved the Spaghetti alla puttanesca (with tomato, garlic, chilli, anchovies, olives and capers) -perfect with the recommended Amarone della Valpolicella.
This establishment is busy, so expect to dine in an unrushed manner.
After three dinners and two late lunches, I give this an A+ rating in food quality, value and service
Fine dining, Rossi Tiziano is not, but it is an exceptional casual eatery within 5 minutes walk of the Termini rail station.
