“Best place to stay”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 October 2013

This place is ideally located close to the Vatican with other sites easily accessible by walking or the Metro. We stayed in the Winter room for 4 nights and it was perfect - large, quiet, nicely decorated and spotless. I was in Rome for a course and the the hosts, Agostino and Gianluca couldn't be more accommodating, providing breakfast earlier than usual, giving suggestions on places to eat and a suggested itinerary for seeing the sites in the limited time I had. One of the best places I've ever stayed in.

We just stayed at this absolutely wonderful B&B. We arrived and Agostino immediately helped us to park our car. We had a car for the first night and we were worried about finding parking. Agostino reassured us it would not be a problem. HIs communications with us was excellent. Our room there was so nice and spacious. Agostino planned out our route for us and recommended such a great restaurant that we ended up going there twice in 3 days. The breakfast was perfect for us and the use of their nice kitchen was great. The location was great too, close to walk everywhere, very nice restaurants in the area, and the metro is super close by. There is even a 24 hour bakery a few steps away. The best part of staying there were meeting Gianluca and Agostino who were not only so helpful but two of the nicest people. We hope to go back to Rome and I would not consider staying anywhere else, I loved our time at QuodLibet and we would gladly recommend it to anyone.

We couldn't have been more pleased with Quod Libet!! The host, Gianluca was friendly and helpful. Everything was spotless---looked new!! Rms were nice size, as were bathrms. Close to the Vatican. Even tho farther from Coliseum, Trevi, etc., we were able to walk everywhere. Metro very close too. Bakery right next door!! Restaurant that Gianluca recommended was fabulous!! Can't go wrong with Quod Libet!

My wife and I stayed 3 nights. Gianluca was a very friendly and helpful host giving us good information on traveling in the city. The rooms are very clean, the breakfast presentation was 5 star; however, the food is average. Our room was on a very busy strret; however, the windows isolated out most of the noise. The location is very close to the red line Metro and 10 minute walk to St. Peters. There is a Bakery in the basement that has a constant line of people from morning until late night.

I will keep our comments brief. This accomodation is outstanding. Great location, just a block away from Metro, and some excellent local restaurants, far better than most in the tourist traps in town. The real surprise was the service and advice given by Gianluca and Agostino. Such that I have never experienced before in any hotel, B&B or Guest House. They really do care that you will enjoy your visit to Rome. Forget about throwing coins in the Trevi Fountain, once you have stayed here you will certainly want to go back to Rome. We will and we know where we will be staying. Jo and Maureen

We were met by Agostino on arrival and were made to feel very welcome immediately. The b&q is very comfortable and the rooms very spacious and airy. The breakfast is really excellent and more than sufficient to set you up for the day so you may not feel the need to stop for lunch. Both Agostino and Janluca are excellent and very helpful in anything that you want regarding booking tickets, taxis or most other services. They are more than happy to help you plan your itinerary so go armed with a list of the things you want to do and they will sort it out for you. Thanks to both of them for providing us with such a great place to stay.

WOW!!! We toured for 3 weeks through Europe and this was the best B&B by far!! The owner was so friendly and helpful. He gave us a map and explained exactly what places he would recommend , the easiest route and what times to go.. which helped a lot. We stayed in the autumn room for 3 nights. The room was beautiful, clean, and had a lot of space and a fridge with an en-suite bathroom. Each morning we got breakfast in our room at the time we requested. The breakfast was huge with a big variety and was absolutely delicious! The place really set a new standard for B&B's. The location was very close to the Vatican city and 2 minutes from the metro making it easy to go anywhere in Rome. With departure we even got a complimentary bottle of wine. Thank you!! If we ever go to Rome again we will definitely stay with you again!!

Room Tip: Autumn room is perfect...
