Having booked my last hotel mainly on location and finding it not quite up to our usual standard, I selected the QuodLibet purely on the reviews in Tripadvisor and was not disappointed. Our long weekend started badly with flight delays and KLM losing our luggage that took another 26 hours to find us. However, the staff were great, they constantly contacted the airline & courier on our behalf and kept us up todate with the situation leaving us free to explore the wonders of Rome. Our room was large & very clean with a built in safe hiden from view in the wall. Not that it was ever needed as security was never an issue, but it did present piece of mind... On our arrival, we were treated to a little informal briefing and a map outlining places to see and where to eat well (and not ripped off by tourist traps) along with contact numbers if we needed any help at any time. The QuodLibet is situated a stones throw from the Vatican & just off the Metro & we were able to walk all of Rome from here. I would highly recommend this place and we shall be heading back soon. Thanks guys...:0)

I chose this B&B based on the reviews on Tripadvisor and was not disappointed!

Just before we were due to travel to Rome one of the owners Agostino emailed us to organise a taxi to collect us from the airport which was very thoughtful. On arrival he gave us a map and marked two interesting walks to take in the sights as well as indicating places to eat where we wouldn't be ripped off and the food was good. He asked where we wanted to visit and gave us advice about the best time of the day to go there. Based on our choices he did not recommend the Roma Pass as we wouldn't get enough benefit from it. One of the places we visited was Villa Borghese which Agostino kindly booked in advance for us. This was just as well as when we got there there were no tickets available unless booked in advance.

We were given rooms Spring and Autumn which were both a good size, clean and comfortable. There was also a table and chairs in each room. Both rooms were quiet with Autumn having a bath with shower over and overlooking an inner courtyard and Spring a walk in shower and overlooking the front of the building.

Breakfast was plentiful with eggs, cold meats, cheese, bread, delicious pastries from the 24 hour bakery next door, fruit juice, tea and coffee. We had the choice of having this served either in our rooms or in one of the kitchens. The other kitchen was available for us to use where we could make drinks. There was also a table and chairs in here; a useful place to go if your partner wanted to take a nap and you didn’t!

The location of the B&B is great, only a short walk to the Vatican Museum and 100 metres from Ottaviano Metro Station (Line A). There are reasonably priced food outlets in this area. Thanks to Agostino's recommendations our budget went a lot further than we expected.

We had a very relaxed, enjoyable stay here and would absolutely recommend this B&B.

Room Tip: Autumn and Spring were both quiet. The former marginally quieter than the latter. See my review.

This was a great find. The staff were friendly, charming and informative. The room was large, clean and very comfortable and the breakfasts were generous. It's a stroll to the Vatican and a few minutes away from the Metro. Thoroughly recommend.

We stayed here for our honeymoon. Here are our mark out of 10.

Location: 9
Value for money: 10
Breakfast: 10
Helpful staff: 10
Cleanliness: 10

This hotel / guest house is a gem just down the road from St Peter's and close to great shopping.
The staff / owners deliver a bespoke service from welcome drinks and orientation and info on the area and advice on restaurants, walks and tour booking. All this was provided without being pushy with a genuine desire for us to have a great and relaxed break in Rome.

It is a gem of a find that we will certainly be returning to and with a lift it will be perfect for our elderly parents to come as well.

The rooms are huge, clean, warm, bright and terrific.

Thank you to all at Quod Libet.

Right after our arrival we were given a map and recommendations of what to visit, where to eat, which way to go. We were already thinking "wow, what was that? We've never seen such a plesant and helpful welcome anywhere else". The recommendations proved to be brilliant, even guiding us through the small and pretty streets of rome, avoiding high traffic or dirty streets..

Rooms were incredibly beautiful and staff was so nice and pleasant we felt like home.

There are more things to praise, but I don't want to ruin the pleasant little surprises for you.

When I go to Rome next time, I now have a favourite place to stay..
