“Great hospitality in Rome”
Reviewed 29 April 2014

We appreciated the hospitality of QuodLibet. Our room was nice (and the one my wife had hoped for); the breakfasts were great. The location was very convenient for the Vatican and we walked to all the major sites around Rome. Thanks for a great stay.

I specifically appreciated our hosts willingness to answer simple questions, call to check on availability of tours, and print passes. These little things helped us enjoy our trip more.

We chose this B&B in Rome for several reasons. 1. They are currently rated
# 1 in Rome. 2. They are in a safe neighborhood 3. They are a golf shot away from the Metro. These three reasons would have been enough to book this place without hesitation. Allow me to tell you why you should BOOK THIS PLACE! for your next visit to Rome. You will meet Gianluca or Agostino, who are innkeepers and gentlemen! Their information about where to shop, what to eat, where to go really enhanced a much anticipated visit to Rome. There is no sign on the building and they desire to get their customers booked through the internet. It is a small charming set of rooms on the fourth floor of a building ( there is a lift ) If you compare the price of this B & B to hotel rooms in Rome you will see that the price is more than reasonable. Breakfast is served at a table in your own room with a wide array of options on the plate. Both Gianluca and Agostino spoke English well, and I would give the stay we had there a 5 out of 5. When my wife and I go back to Rome ( which we have to now, after throwing coins in the Trevi fountain ) we won't even book our airfare until we are sure to have rebooked the Quod Libet. The Latin phrase loosely translates to What you like...and we surely did!

Everything about our stay was great! We would definitely stay here again! The hosts were very welcoming and hospitable. The room was very clean. It was like staying at a hotel but better because you got personal service. There was a nice hair dryer, fridge with bottled water, and even slippers! The breakfasts were yummy and filling. The location was unbeatable. You could walk everywhere. There is a 24 hour bakery next door and a very good restaurant on the corner. The host made special accommodations for us when we had a very late arrival and an early departure. We stayed five nights and it was a wonderful experience.

I am a visitor from Bangkok, Thailand. The best I like in "Quodlibet bed and breakfast" is cleanness and wonderful service. It also has many facilities to use like capsules coffee machine in the room, android TV that can also use the internet on TV, fridge etc.The room is also wide and look beautiful. When I first come to this place, Agostino welcomed us superbly. He gives a useful recommendations about travelling in Rome. The next day, My daghter was very hurt her eyes, Jianluca intentionally find a place which have a good opthamologist that are most near to the hotel. Two of them are very kind. I will choose to live in this place again if I decide to visiting Rome.

It is hard to put into words why Quod Libet is so special; the rooms are lovely, the breakfasts are excellent and the location is perfect. What makes Quod Libet extra special though, is the thought and care that Agostino, Lisette and Gianluca put into making your stay as comfortable as possible. We were given excellent recommendations for restaurants, specific walking routes and tips that only Romans would know - after 24 hours we felt like we knew the city and it was our home. We stayed for 4 nights and didn't want to leave, it was just fantastic.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Autumn Room, which was quiet and peaceful at night, positioned away from the road.

Stayed in the newer extension. Room was excellent. Bright, white and clean. Position of the B&B was excellent and within a long stone's throw of the Vatican.

Breakfast served in the room was excellent. Gianluca and Agostino were really kind and helpful.

Highly recommended.
