“Beyond Awesome”
Reviewed 10 August 2009

My fiance and I stayed at the Imperium Suite Navona and from day 1 it was beyond awesome. Arriving at the hotel was a bit of a challenge as the road to it is not accessible to cars so the taxi driver dropped us of around the corner and in Italian told us where to go. Fortunately for us, we saw the maid sitting outside the hotel and she directed us to the second floor. Since the elevator didn't stop at the 2nd floor she took my fiance's bag and I took mine up the stairs.

When we arrived to the top we met the owner of the hotel. He told us that having the hotel was his pride and joy and that he was very happy to have us. He was very friendly and told us to shower first and then we could check in.

When we arrived in the room, we realized this was not a hotel but more of a bed and breakfast. The room is very romantic and very very clean. After showering and getting settled we left and met the person who would be in charge at night. Ramon, I hope I'm spelling his name correctly, really made our stay as awesome as it was. Since we were out most of the day and came home late at night, we would see him the most. He was always very friendly and always willing to help us out.

Every night before you sleep, you fill out an order for breakfast. The breakfast was one of our favorite parts. It helped us save a lot of money. Its a very basic breakfast consisting of bread, meats and cheese but that is all you really need. The owner told us that he would get us anything we needed but we were very content with what it was.

The location isn't right next to anything which is kind of nice because the big crowds are never near your window. Everything is within walking distance, though, or a very very cheap taxi ride.

The bad reviews for this hotel really don't add up and I am convinced that they stayed some where else. All Italian TV really shouldn't be a problem. Get out of your room and enjoy some people watching.

To rap it up, this hotel, is beyond awesome. The owner loves and it and you can tell. If we had one negative thing to say, I'm 100% convinced he would have tried his best to fix it. Fortunately for everyone, this hotel was simply perfect.

We stayed for 5 nights in July and loved the hotel. It is actually 6 rooms and an office occupying the second floor of an otherwise condo apartment building on a quiet residential street. The rooms were well-appointed, the air conditioning worked well. David and Roman staff the all day and evening and are sweet, cheerful and tremendously helpful. The rooms are cleaned spotless every day, and every morning a great breakfast is brought to your room at the time you asked for. The hotel is quiet despite some of the early reviews (everyone now has keys to the front door and there is no buzzer ringing at night).
The location is unbeatable. It is a one minute walk to Piazza Navona and a quick walk to the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain, Campo De Fiore and the Vatican. There are dozens of restaurants of every type within a quick walk. On Rinascimento a block or two away there are bus stops that take you anywhere in Central Rome (the Coliseum, Villa Borghese, Termini station, the National Museum, the Capital). To get to the hotel from Termini Rail station just take the No. 70 bus outside the station and get off on Rinascimento. It is a good idea to print the picture of the exterior of the hotel as there is no sign. If you want a friendly, good-value, well-located hotel and can do without the lobby, this is a real gem.

To find a place from where one can move without any difficulty is the best thing to be happened for a tourist. In this way one can serve the time and money and then can get the maximum from the tour. If this is what you are searching, here is the place where you can find the best one wants: Imperium Suite Navona, situated between piazza Navona and Pantheon. Staff is friendly, rooms brand new and clean, break-first is delivered every morning to the room and one could order almost anything.

Imperium Suite Navona is a jewel in the best part of Rome. My wife and I along wtih out two sons visited for 8 nights and couldn't be happier. Rooms were exceptionally clean, Rahaman and David went out of their way to make sure we had the best time from directions to sites to a great breakfast. The breakfast kept us going all day. We were able to not use a taxi once because the location is so centrally located. We saw the Pantheon, Colusseum, Forum, Vatican, atc all within walking distance. The Navona Plaza is filled with restaurants, artists, mimes, musicians of all sorts in the evening. It is with great pleasure that I recommend the great bed and breakfast. Steve Deturk

Accomodation is very good, with a most helpful staff. They guided us to the place with our car, and helped us along when we had to leave very early. There are only 6 rooms, so you get a bit closer to the staff than you normally do. VERY central location in Rome. Book early, and get a fixed price from and to the airport. We got a price for 80€ very early (04:30 in the morning) in the morning.
