“Great B&B, friendly staff, clean bedrooms.”
Reviewed 17 November 2013

Me and my dad stayed here, and it was a great, cheap alternative to some of the more expensive hotels in Rome. It was close to the Colosseum (a short walk away), and near to Termini. It would probably be hard to find if you didn't know which number it was (10), but once you are used to the location, it is great.
The bedrooms were clean, and the beds made daily. The bathroom was great, and the staff, though not easily found in the evenings, were visible and friendly during the morning and day.
The breakfast wasn't great, there wasn't a huge selection, but you get what you pay for. It was more than enough for me.

I would thoroughly recommend this B&B for people who are on a budget, and would definitely book with them again.

Having previously stayed before, we knew what to expect this time around and a bit disappointed with value in terms of what we paid this year.

Yes, well Located 5-10 min walk from Termini Station.
Yes, elevator for luggage.
Very Small B&B operated, limited to no english, hosts speak italian only.
booked via Hotelclub.com.au and paid about 90-100 EUR per night for early September, double room.
Breakfast is nothing to minimal, cereal, mini-toast biscuits, juice, some bread, jams and butter, warm yoghurt available. No Eggs or protein items.

One thing we noticed this time is our room was VERY noisy, as we were facing the tramline out front. Also the air conditioner is very rattly if you have problems sleeping, this will wake you.

It is clean and functional for a couple of nights, but the area the hotel is located in can be quite dodgy at night time...so we will most likely avoid this hotel next time in rome.

we stayed for 3 nights and will probably stay elsewhere next time as it was not great value for money, perhaps an apartment letting would be better.

Room Tip: avoid road side and tram side rooms, ask for room at the back of the property.

My fiancé and I stayed here in 2012 and thoroughly enjoyed.
Don’t see many reviews so wanted to give my opinion on this B&B.

OK to start – GREAT VALUE and YES! Please note, it is a TYPICAL Rome B&B, with decent sized rooms, refrigerator/mini bar, WIFI,
renovated bathrooms (with a real door...no-shower curtain!), limited English spoken, non-smoking and basics available for breakfast. It was clean with fresh towels provided daily.

We love to travel with Vegemite, so a bit of toast with cheese and packaged cornettos or crossaints, juice etc and we were on our way.
Small elevator in the building was fine and saved the stair climb with luggage.

From memory, Yes - this was hard to find – no door sign – big wooden doors
So we stopped to ask the Corner Stores/other shops in the back of Termini, showed them the Map and name of B&B,they guided us there!
It’s only a 5-10min walk from Termini/Santa Maria Church.

In 2010 we paid a discounted ‘cash’ rate of around 70 EUR per night in June, now it’s gone up to around 90 for a double rm.

It was a cute place, nice and homey without feeling you’re on top of other travellers !
We have booked again in SEP 2013 and look forward to visiting then...hopefully not too much has changed.

Room Tip: Large room with renovated bathroom. Non Smoking.

We arrived at night and took half an hour to locate this, you need the street number, its located on the 3rd floor of a large apartment block with poor signage. The staff are good, rooms at front are noisy due to traffic and tram. The breakfast is stale or at best pre frozen white bread, two choices of sweet flakes, yoghurt, biscuits and cakes, orange squasg, tap water and tea or coffee.
The area around the Termini is seedy at night with opportunists, beggars and prostitutes. The buses get busy especially nos 40 and 64 to town, we witnessed a team of at least two pickpockets operating on the bus, so be very careful. The "hotel" is tolerable for the price if you get a room at the back and take in your own fruit and bread,

A very good clean place to stay with an OK breakfast. Position is good for metro with plenty of places to eat near plus many shops and supermarkets. Lift to 3rd floor. All fine with us no problems. Friendly staff.

The advantages of Casa Di Rosy were: helpful, English speaking staff, large rooms, buffet breakfasts and location (near to Termini, yet still very calm street).

Cleanliness might be better.

The disadvantages: we were told during booking that there's a fridge in our room - that's simply not true; double bed was big but very uncomfy because of two single mattresses.
To sum up, you get what you pay for and if you expect fair value for money, you won't be disappointed.

Room Tip: Do not choose the room with the view on the street - noise is hard to bear when tram's passing b...

A homely little place in a very central location. Staff are friendly, rooms are well kept. However, breakfast is fairly meagre and there's no lounge, only a little dining area. You'll need earplugs at night to block out the sound of air con and traffic. It's also impossible to find as there is no signage - locate it precisely before you arrive! Overall, however, it was decent: we were satisfied if not overawed.

Room Tip: Stay at the rear if possible, to avoid the traffic noise.
