We've been at this Marriott for 5 days and have happily ordered room service 4 of those nights. Last night decided to eat in public. Our waiter was the same guy who had delivered our room service and he was very attentive and an excellent waiter. Did catch his name but he reminded me of the dude in The Transporter. Anyway, we ordered lightly as it was around 10:00pm and didnt get any attitude for it! Big plus. Spouse ordered the Chicken Ceasars salad, which was quite large with plentiful slivers of parmesan through out. Only complaint was that it lacked Ceasars salad dressing. Whatever they were serving seemed more like thinned mayonaise with a few green herbs for color. Salad part was great, though. I ordered the chicken medallions with roasted spinach. What I received was a chicken croquette with what I would describe as a spinach cracker. It all tasted fine, but just not what I expected from my limited Italian and their funky English translations. But after 2 very generous glasses of wine decided all was well in the world and can give them a good recommendation.

Thank Hiannette

We ate here while staying at the Marriott Courtyard because it was raining and didn't want to venture out. Restaurant never had more than 4 tables dining the two hours we were there. Food was okay, but service was great. I ordered the veal which was a little tough. My grandkids loved their pizza and chicken fingers. It was nice for them to find some comfort food in Rome. Our server was always smiling even though he had to take room service orders on his cell while waiting tables. I think he was the restaurant manager. Cheapest bottle of wine was 37 euros. Not accustomed to that price after being in Tuscany. Met a woman in the elevator who asked us for restaurant recommendations. They had just eaten there and she said her husband was still hungry and thought it was a little pricey for what you got.

During our recent visit to Rome and being Marriott Gold Members we decided to try out the Moscati Ristorante & Wine Bar inside the Marriott Central park Hotel. While staying at the Marriott surprised us with all of its issues, this restaurant is fortunately not one of them.

Ambiance - Moscati is located inside the Marriott Hotel, directly to the left of the front revolving doors as you enter. The atmosphere is European chic with beautiful subdued lighting and a romantic setting. Tables are well appointed and nicely spaced throughout and surrounding the bar. There is also dining al fresco on a nice patio. The restaurant can accommodate couples to a large family or group of friends.

Service - Service in any Marriott Hotel comes with an expectation of top tier service and the staff at Moscati won't let you down. Servers were helpful and attentive. Food was ordered and served without mistakes in all of the meals we had here.

Food - The diverse menu features mostly Italian dishes with pasta specialties. Several dishes we ordered: pasta with clams, pasta with mussels, pasta carbonera, salads, vegetable soup were all properly prepared, had nice presentations and were tasty. In the morning the restaurant serves a buffet breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausages, an assortment of sliced meats, cereals, fruits, pastries and juices, along with various teas and coffees for $14 Euro.
Some hotel stays include the buffet breakfast.

Costs and Value - The menu prices at Moscati are from a bit above average to expensive depending upon what is ordered. Expect to pay more for food than elsewhere because it is a Marriott property. However, we found that the cost to value ratio was appropriate.

Summary - Moscati's food preparation and taste is very good. Service very good. Cost above average to slightly expensive. A romantic atmosphere at night. A good place for a drink and to spend a late evening out. Bon apetite! Ciao.

The atmosphere in this hotel restaurant is very clean and pleasant, with good views over the city of Rome, including St Peters. Service is attentive but not overly intrusive and the menu extends beyond the range of usual tourist expectations although there is a good range of Roman Specialties Food is fresh and well prepared. Prices are what you would expect in a hotel, but they are not all that different from the tourist trap trattorias whose food and cleanliness are not necessarily so good.
