“Great Value Near Roma Termini”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 May 2013

This is an excellent and economical hotel if you want to stay near Termini to take advantage of the metro, train transportation or a bus to the FCO airport. The rates are very reasonable for Rome. Room 1 is very spacious with the only ensuite bath but all the showers (including shared baths) are very small.

There are several reasonable and good restaurants in the local area within walking distance (Sapori di Casa, Meid in Nepols, The Beehive Cafe, I Porchettoni a San Lorenzo, That's Amore) that are frequented by locals.

Emily is very helpful and responsive to requests. She has run this B&B for 7 years and lived in Rome 22 years. She keeps the rooms very clean.

It is located on Floor 1 (2nd story) with a small elevator (big enough for 1 person with 1 luggage) or stairs wide enough to carry luggage.

The only problems include the noise due to the street outside, the shower is also very small but it will work for most people, and the TV was very small and we could not get it to work (we were busy enough that it didn’t matter enough to ask for help). Finally, the bed was a bit hard for our taste and we could feel some of the springs.

Breakfast includes cereal and there is always fruit, juice and coffee available. There is a small bar one block away that provides croissants and coffee to supplement the breakfast which is included.

All in all this is a very good value for someone traveling by train or bus from the airport and desiring to keep their costs down.

Room Tip: Room 1 is very spacious with the only ensuite bath but all the showers (including shared baths) are...

A very good B&B: clean rooms, free wifi, good breakfast, enough hot water for showering, near the central railway station (3 min. walk), many restaurants, shops and 2 supermarkets nearby. Would stay here again!

We stayed for two nights in this B&B. We had a spacious room with shared bathroom. This B&B is very clean, the hosts were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast were generous and nice. It is also within walking distance from Rome Termini station with many places to eat and shop. Emily, the host introduced us to a laundry opposite the B&B, the price was reasonable and we got to use the internet while waiting for the laundry.

The B&B is in a great location, conveniently located within walking distance of Termini Station. Emily, the landlady, was very welcoming and super nice... she made us coffee and breakfast every morning and was very helpful. I got the flu on our last day and she was very caring and gave me plenty of packs of tissues for our flight.

Emily was great. She is a Filipino who has been staying here for 22 years.

We stayed May-June 2012 for 4 nights, shared bath, at Euro65/night with breakfast.

Pros:
Located near Termini
Near water location (free drinking water in Rome..actually in most tourist spots!)
Supermarket at Termini
Loads of food available around
Good service from Emily
Simple but sufficient breakfast
Clean towels (really white ones and thick)
Clean bathrooms
Clean beds

Cons
Streets are noisy (if you are really a light sleeper...I think this isn't for you BUT if you are like ms who is a light sleeper however got tired from all the walking...you probably knock out)
Shower was small even for my husband (we are Asian). For me was okay.

Overall I will recommend this place ESP if you are particular with cleanliness...this place is Very clean!

We got a shared bathroom for Euro65/night. Our room was the smallest in the apartment but sufficient for us.

The owner is Emily, a Filipino. Sweet lady. The place was clean to Asian standard and breakfast was simple but sufficient for us. We stayed during May-Jun 2012.

Both husband and I are petite for Asian. So the bathroom shower size for my husband was small. For bigger size, you might find it a squeeze.

It's located in a place where at night there is still traffic and abit of noise. If you are a light sleep (seriously light sleeper), I really discourage you to stay there. But if you are like me (I am a light sleeper) who after a long day in Rome...anything can knock you out. Then it's fine.

The lift is small. But seriously I think most lift is small in Italy! Bed was abit soft however comfortable for me. :)

Emily was very helpful. Thumbs up for her service and keeping the place clean. Oh, I love the thick white towels for bath!
