This 2 bedroom apartment in a great location was perfect for our family of 4 (2 teenage boys). We were warmly greeted by Leonardo and he told us where to find the best restaurants, location of the supermarket and all his tips for a great visit to Rome. The apartment is one block from a great street of shops, and as you walk to the the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps, you'll do lots of window shopping and gelato eating. We walked all over Rome from this great location and were always able to find good food nearby. The boys got take-away delicious wood fired pizzas from Pizza Re, just four doors down from the apartment. They were cooked in minutes and delicious, all under 8 Euro per pizza! Great value! There was a breakfast, coffee and pastries cafe in the side street which was great to stop at once we got going in the mornings.
The apartment has a basic kitchenette where you could cook simple meals if you wanted to. The apartment is spotlessly clean and handy to everything. Happy walking in Rome, you'll do lots of it. A great tip for families is to buy your joint ticket to the Forum and Colosseum at the Roman Forum, where the queue is short, and jump the queue at the Colosseum where everyone is queued for hours! Ciao!More
