We were there with my friend for three days and we had a really awesome time, the service was excellent. The room was perfect and very clean. Good value for money. The location is also fantastic, a walking distance to the city centre. There were also nice bars around the area so everything went so well. Glen and Gianluca were so nice to us! Highly reccomended.

We stayed here for 3 nights in November. We are a young couple & thought this place was great! We got a room with a double bed & a single since our cousin joined us for 2 nights. We did this to save money of course.Glenn was great! So helpful in giving us maps & directions. The breakfast was enough to start you for the day. You got a choice of fresh cappuccino, tea or hot chocolate & juice also. An assortment of packaged toast, croissants, jam, nutella, etc. Room & bathroom were VERY clean! Only a 10 minute walk from the Coliseum and main train Termini...

My family of 4 stayed in Room 1 for 2 nights right before a cruise. I didn't plan anything, and was planning on "winging it" while we were there. We were greeted at the door as soon as we pulled up in the transportation they arranged for us from the airport. Glen is super knowledgeable, and basically mapped everything out for us, to ensure we were able to see and do as much as possible in those two days! And when I say mapped, I mean, gave us a map, told us where to walk, which routes to maximize our time, when to take a bus, what bus lines, etc etc. Location was perfect, as we were able to see many places that first day, all by foot. The second day we took a bus to the Vatican, and walked all the way to the Pantheon, seeing a lot of other sites along the way. Again, all this was mapped out for us =)

The room was very big and fit the four of us comfortably. Breakfast was more than enough to get us out the door to start seeing the sites until we found a tasty place for lunch. Clean room and towels. Felt very secure and safe in the building.

When our time in Rome was up, transportation to the cruise port was taken care of by Glen. This was absolutely a carefree, stress free trip and I will definitely be staying there again!

Found this place on trip advisor. Photos of the place make it look like a 150 room hotel on a triangular corner of the city. It is on a triangular corner but only has 5 rooms. The room were very clean and adequate for what you are paying. The location is not the best as the street has hardly any foot traffic and get a bit creepy after dark. We did find a great restaurant about two blocks from the hotel. toward the train station L'Esquilino. Great food wonderful service. We ate there both night while we were in Rome.
Glen, who manages the 5 room hotel is very helpful. One thing I would not do again is buy our Hop on Hop off bus tickets from him. We were on the GLT Green Lines Tours. the terminal is up by the train station (10 minute walk) but the bus starts running later than most and quits early thus limiting your time on the other side of town.
Breakfast is served on two trays by Glen and is taken to your room. There is no choice of what you get but it was enough for us and more that most people in town eat for breakfast.

Room Tip: With only 4 or 5 rooms you really do not have much of a choice.

Great location, staff, rooms!! Me and my girlfriend spent 4 nights in Rome and this place is fabulous. The rooms are spacious, clean and bathrooms very modern. Breakfast also included that will easily see you through until noon (24hr coffee facilities also included). Clean towels and room serviced everyday once you have vacated the room. Glen and Luca extremely helpful, kind and understanding. Very secure rooms inclusive of safe (however not needed)!!

I will be going back to Rome and WILL be staying at the Cesare Balbo. Highly recommended!!

Just to give you a feel for the location.......

Collesium - 10 min walk.
Forum - 5/10 min walk.
Trevi Fountain - 10/15 min walk.
Termini - 5/10 min walk
Vatican - 64 bus (free) or a 7 euro taxi.

Lots of great restaurants in the area too (Ricci EST EST EST just around the corner was amazing!!)

Room Tip: We stayed in Room number 3 - great!! Did see other rooms and all looked great.

Great place to stay in Rome. Me and my girlfriend stayed here for three days. Its located 10 minutes walk from the train station. The area is clean and nice, but the best part was the service. Glen and Luca are my guys. Glen was very friendly and gave us extra tips on how and when to get where.
*Special shot out to Luca. I left my house keys at the hotel. Luca sent them ahead to our next hotel in venice. Without me asking, he called the Venice hotel several times until he could confirm they were delivered. Even the venice hotel staff was impressed. Luca rules!
