To many people, not enough time to experience everything. My guide really didn't explain much to us. We walked single file line most of the time trying to keep up with our guide. The art work, building, etc. are beautiful... Just to crowed to even take pictures. They expressed that this was not even high season yet.

The Vatican is one of the most beautiful places in Europe and should not be missed. Even if you can't afford a tour at least go to the Basilica as it is awesome

As you approach St Peter's Square you will be accosted by a multitude of people who want to help you to avoid the long queues. For 41 Euros per head we had a guided tour with a very knowledgeable guide for about 2 and a half hours which gave us a taste of the museum, a tour of the gardens, 15 minutes in the Sistine Chapel and access to St Peter's itself which is an awesome site to behold. Definitely the biggest church I have ever been in but a "must see" when in Rome.

We had booked tickets for the Vatican and then talked onto going for a guided tour outside St Peters square. Am so please we were we had a lovely lady called Maggie who knew everything about the Vatican. It took us 3 and a half hours to get round and she informed us on everything and involved all the tour party with questions and answers. So pleased we done the guided tour feel as though if we had not we would not have enjoyed the Vatican as would not have had all the information we were told. If you go to Rome would defiantly recommend these tours it does seem expensive but well worth if. Thank you to Maggie you are a star.

We were at the Vatican City on friday the 21 of march. When we arrived at the meeting point, we met an energetic, smiling and friendly person named Luigi. He started shaking everybodys hands, person by person, and we were about 20 persons!, and he asked everyone for their names! He presented how the tour was about to take place, he gave us earpieces and he made sure that everyone could hear him well.

During the tour, he made sure at all times, that everyone had gathered around him before talking about anything new. He had endless information, and he made everything very interesting. Even the smallest detail! He wanted us to take part of his knowledge, and we did. Even if the tour was around 4 hours, we never tired, and he has excellent english and he was also funny, entertaining us with knowledge and humour!

We recommend Luigi Senise to everyone, without a doubt, some people are follwers and he is the masterpiece.

Thank you Luigi Senise, you made our day!
