We stayed in Mok'House for 3 nights, and it was a fantastic experience!
We stayed in the Vespa room, which was modern and stylish, which made it a lovely haven to come back to after a day of sight seeing! The free wifi in the rooms was a huge bonus, as most hotels we had previously stayed in either did not have internet or charged for use of wifi.
Marco was an excellent host, from recommending some great restaurants (the ,amatriciana
was unbelievable!!!) and giving us directions to the metro and great local places to visit.
I would tell everyone when visiting Rome they must stay here, it was the best experience we have ever had, and we when we come back to Rome in the future we would stay nowhere else!

Thanks a lot guys for your amazing review! It's been a pleasure to have you here and...you know what? The day after you left I quitted smoking!!! It's now 2 weeks...this is the best part of having a B&B: socialize and share the experiences, so that when you have 2 doctors in the house it is a good idea to listen to their advices. ;) Looking forward to have you back and to visit you in Belfast soon! Ciao!!!

We stayed in Mok'house for 3 nights. The rooms was lovely. Andrea and Marco were very friendly and helpful. They prepared all the travel information in Roma in detail. The location is very central and closed to most of attrations.

Room Tip: If you want a private shower room in your room, you can choose 500 room. But there is a private show...

Had a great time at Mok house! Rooms are stylish and whole building and the surrounding area has a nice atmosphere. I loved the little Fiats in my room. Lively shops, cafés and restaurants around every corner. I also enjoyed jogging in the morning, going by Colosseum and buying little pastries or delicious prociutto from the little shop across the street. Also close to metro and Termini station, so easy to reach. And Marco was really helpful in helping find good restaurants or finding a taxi in the rain. I really recommend this place!

Everything was just perfect and we definitely recommend mok'house to anyone who wants to experience the REAL Rome, not those tourists oriented areas were you feel like a walking wallet. Marco was very helpful in giving recommendations on places to eat and places to go. Always very accommodating. The room is very clean and cozy. The cleaner comes in to clean every day. The location is just right. There was free wifi. The free breakfast was always a treat for me. When I ever find myself again in Rome, I would definitely stay again at mok house!

Room Tip: Choose the one on the top floor (4th or 5th). The climb can be challenging but you are rewarded with...

We had been recommend the Mok House appts. by family members who had stayed approx. 2 years ago and trusted their judgement. I can only reiterate the comments by other reviewers. All at the Mok House from our transfer on arrival to departure day were helpful, informative, and a pleasure to deal with. The appartment is to a good standard and very comfortable especially as we had young family with us. A bakery across the street takes care of breakfast if you are self catering. The resturants recommend by Andrea proved to be the best we ate in during our trip to Rome.

Location is fantastic, its less than 10 mins from colosseum, and everyplace is walkable except the vatican which we got the metro from termini station, cost 1 euro each. There is so much to do and see we could have spent another week here easily, if only we could!. Do book the online tickets for the Vatican museum. Or for the colosseum,go to the Forum entrance to buy them. While the lines move, it still takes sometime and if you are on a trip for a few days only, you dont want to waste it in a queue.

One thing to bear in mind if you are bringing children to the Forum & Colosseum is that entrance is free to EU citzens under 16 (this may even be 18)!, but you need proof of identity passport, EU card etc. We didnt know this and had to pay full price for children. You live and learn.

Rome itself is fantastic, we spent a day at the Vatican and the Forum and Colosseum took another day, the remainder was spent visiting the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and wandering around soaking up the atmosphere of this very busy city.

Room Tip: Mok Classic was perfect for our group of 5 people.

I was so impressed with our experience at Mok'house. The location was very convenient and easy to navigate. We rented bikes and got to the bike paths easy. Bike rental place was less than a block away. The staff was multi-lingual and gave us accurate and authentic recommendations for activities and restaurants. I want to go back and stay for a few weeks next time! It was that comfortable!
