Marco and Elena were the most solicitous and genuine hosts!

What we enjoyed:
--Sitting at the kitchen table with other travelers sharing Marco's grandmother's homemade cake.
--Learning about contemporary Rome from Marco who grew up in the Trastevere district.
--Returning with delicious Slow Food items we purchased from Suites Trastevere.
--Walking through the narrow streets of the funky and artistic Trastevere district.
--Excellent location to multiple transportation options but also close enough to walk to some interesting areas of Rome.

Tip: Buy tram tickets from the Tabacchi located nearby.

We hope to return. ¡Muchisimas gracías! Mille Grazie!

The B&B offers a great place to relax after exploring the hectic areas of Rome. We have stayed in Navona and Campo dei Fiori areas of Rome before, but we wanted to try somewhere new. The location is convenient to the tram and walkable to the Trastevere train station for transfer to airport. The room was exceptionally clean and nicely decorated. Bathroom was a nice size. We got great suggestions from Marco for new places to explore. Breakfast was nice and it was good to have kitchen access for an early departure.

If you want to visit Rome you can stay at any B&B or hotel, but if you want to enjoy your stay in Rome you have to choose Suites Trastevere. Trastevere itself is a unique area of the city. One can have best pizza and dinner in Trastevere at comparatively cheaper price than downtown. The place boasts with its antique streets and decorative cafe/restaurants. Tram #8 is a very fast and convenient transport to reach Piazza Venezia, from there you can reach all the major attractions on foot. Tram stop is just in front of Suites Trastevere. As for the property itself this cozy B&B has wide choice of rooms, each hand painted by the artist who tried to depict major sights of Rome, rooms are called after the these sights, such as Pantheon Room, Villa Borghese Room, Trevi Fountain, etc . . . It is very clean, homey B&B, with very positive environment and most importantly good value of money. You are welcomed with two wonderful people Marco and Elena who do their maximum to provide best tips about how to navigate in the city, what to see, where to eat . . . Breakfast is nourishing and tenants are offered free coffee, tea, drinks and snacks 24/7. Marco's grandmother bakes very delicious cakes !!! If ever in Rome I will definitely choose this place again with no second ponder.

Room Tip: any room is a pleasant adventure

It's a five room apartment with common areas that serve as an hotel, that means you can get benefits from both styles. It's as comfortable and clean as you can get. Beds are large and very, very comfortable to sleep. The common areas have 24 hr bar service for free and you can also cook for 6 people with enough room and comfort. The location is almost perfect, not more than 15/20 min from almost every place you want to visit, with many transportation going in front of the door. The breakfast is something incredible, very complete, superbly served and you can eat as much as you please.
A SPECIAL word for Marco and Elena, you will not find better hosts than them (equal, but not better). Their warmth, professionalism and charming personality will make you feel like at home. What else can you ask?

Room Tip: Any of the five rooms are excellent, if you prefere quietness, ask for the one of the three that are...

First of all, location of Suites Trastevere is amazing. You can always ride Tram no.8 (the stop is is just right in front of the place) which takes you to the center of Rome in less than ten minutes. From the last stop of Tram no.8, you can explore the city by foot.

Marco and Helena were fantastic. They gave us good advices on everything we need to know in Rome. The facility is clean and very safe; you will feel like you are at your friend's place. On our arrival date, we arrived very early morning before check-in time. Marco has a room ready for a group of us to freshen up before heading out to Vatican City. He also provided us with the airport transfer at reasonable rate. Other pros: free wifi, lift in the building (no need to carry big luggage to third floor), small minimart and tabachi just opposite of the building. Plus, if you stay during Sunday, there is a biggest street market right across the street. You will find antiques, clothes, shoes, food, etc.

We would definately come back to Suites Trastevere for our next trip to Rome. Thanks to Marco and Helena.

Most has already been written but knowing how important ratings are, especially for small businesses, here's some more of the same...

Great location coming in by train from Fiumicino, in a residential neighbourhood. Easy access to everything using tram 8 just outside. The heart of Trastevere is ca 10-15min away by foot.

Marco helped with dinner reservations and other useful advice. Elena took good care of us at breakfast time.

Would definitely consider staying here again!

Stayed at Suites Trastevere for four nights in March. Marco and Elena were wonderful and couldn't have been more helpful, really going out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The accommodation was very comfortable, clean and easy to find, less than five minutes walk from the train station. It even has a fabulous old lift! The breakfast was plentiful and fresh, even cake from Marco's Nonna! The tram is right outside the door and takes you into central Rome in minutes, or if you are feeling fit, the walk is about 30 mins to any of the central or major sights. Trastevere is lively and fun and very colourful. Overall, we had a terrific stay and would recommend this place to anyone wanting budget-conscious accommodation.
