“Nice hotel - perfect location!”
Reviewed 31 August 2013

We spent 4 nights at The Fellini Inn this week. We had ordered a Junior Suite and got the room 408.
The reception was small, but the staff were friendly. We had to use the stair 1 level up to get to the elevator and the elevator was tinitiny :) But we both fitted in without the suitcases (which was carried up by the staff ;) )
The suite was clean and nice with good aircondition.
We had a bedroom with a TV, a wardrobe, a bathroom with shower and a second room with a couch, minibar and a desk.
The location was perfect, close to the Trevi fountain :)
The breakfast was served 2 doors up in the street, and it had the elementary things wee needed. I missed some crackers, it was only fine bread (I usually eat something other than fine bread/loaf)

Room Tip: 408, a Junior suite. Mostly quiet, woke up 1 time of some drunk people screeaming and laughing ;)

Small hotel with small rooms....but more importantly, welcoming and clean. Nice contemporary bathrooms. Close to all the attractions...Trevi Fountains is a mere stroll down the street as is Spanish Steps. In close proximity to nice eateries.

Room Tip: Any floor will do.

We stayed at this hotel six years ago and had a very good experience. Now, July 2013, we are back and we are quite comfortable and really have no complaints. The hotel is in a great location - easy walking to lots of sites, the Termini, Metro stations and many restaurants. The hotel has been renovated since we were here last and though our room is tiny by most American standards (it's probably 13x 13 plus bathroom) it is very fresh and new. There is virtually NO soundproofing between rooms (we are in 103) and the giggling girls in the room next door might as well invite us over. The staff is friendly but the evening desk attendant tonight had absolutely nothing to offer us when we asked about restaurant ideas in the neighborhood. This is a fine hotel. We will come back to Rome in 3 years probably but may try another hotel in another neighborhood. But we still recommend Fellini.

Room Tip: There is an elevator but you have to go up a flight of stairs to get to it. They have a staff member...

When we arrived at the Fellini we were warmly welcomed by the staff. The service of the staff was great, very helpful and willing to help. However the hotel did not tell us that they had moved us to another hotel and one of the staff took us to another Building. We were wondering why we were in a different building but I assumed that the hotel rooms were located in a different building to the hotel reception. By then we were confused and asked the staff in the other building what was going on. The staff put the receptionist of the Fellini on the phone so they could tell me. I was told that our room was having maintenance done and we had to be moved to another hotel. Why not just tell me when checking in?!!! She was obviously trying to avoid telling us!! We then heard the breakfast staff saying "overbooked" to each other when explaining what room we were in. So obviously they lied to us!!! Don't lie to your customers to try and hide your mistakes!! Don't know how the rooms are like cos I never actually saw them but the breakfast was good and the breakfast staff were so lovely and great! Reception staff are nice and helpful but need to be honest. When they tell you your room is having Maintenance done, it's not. They have overbooked their hotel and are too coward to tell you.

We have just got back from our 10 year wedding anniversary in Rome, and picked to stay at the Fellini Inn through Trip Advisor.

I have to say it was a great decision. The Hotel were attentive to our needs, always assisted, and even left a little bottle of champers in our room as a Congrats!

The room was impeccably clean and more than suited our needs. Maybe slightly on the smaller side, but not a showstopper considering we spent most of the time out and about.

The positioning of the hotel was ideal - we literally walked to all the major landmarks in Rome from the hotel. Constantly having to pass Trevi Fountain on our way back for a Gelato! ;)

Spot on!

We were given a room near to the traffic tunnel so it was abit noisy.
It is not near to termini (20-30mins walk) but close to attractions such trevi and spanish steps.
The air conditioned room is clean and pretty spacious.
Wifi is stable with fast speed.

Room was small but charming. Bed was quite comfortable. Very clean throughout hotel. Quiet room one block off of a main street. Staff very knowledgable and helpful. Would definitely recommend. Location very near subway buses and Trevi Fountain.
