“Perfect location for our first trip to Rome”
Reviewed 23 October 2010

We are very pleased that we chose the Cuscino e Cappucino B&B for our first trip to Rome. We stayed there for three nights and were very happy with our spotlessly clean room, as well as the great location...within walking distance of many of Rome's attractions. Paolo, the owner of the B&B, was very friendly and ready to assist us with any of our needs. He was also helpful in showing us where to go and how to get there. He arranged for a driver to pick us up at the airport, and then arranged for a taxi to take us anywhere we needed to go.

If we were to go to Rome again, we would certainly use this B&B again.

We stayed for two nights at this B&B when in Rome and then returned for one additional night after visiting Florence and Venice. We cannot say enough about the hospitality and service provided by Paolo, the owner. We felt so safe and comfortable at his B&B that we could not wait to return for the last night of our wondeful trip to Italy. The B&B is located in an excellent spot--right across the street from the Vatican. You can see the Vatican wall out of the window of one of the very comfortable and extremely clean rooms. Paolo is the owner and he makes your stay very memorable and very much worth staying at his B&B. He is very helpful with all the questions we had when we first arrived. He is so very proud of his city and wants to make certain that you have a perfect stay. The rooms are very, very clean as is the entire place. He is ALWAYS available to assist you and can provide information for all your needs.

We left Rome to travel to Florence and Venice for a few days. The apartments we rented were nice but neither compared to his hospitality and his B&B. He is so very friendly and certainly made our first visit to Rome a memorable one. When returning to Rome we certainly will stay at Cuscino e Cappuccino again. Also I need to say that the pictures on the website do not do justice for the B&B. It is a really nice and comfortable place....and certainly worth checking out.....you will not be disappointed in any way....

This B&B was more than we expected. It is in a very safe and handy part of Rome. Paolo was an excellent host. Our rooms were clean and tidy, easy to unpack and get ready for sightseeing. Paolo was kind enough to set up transportation to and from the airport.

Paolo was friendly and helpful by giving us a map and demonstrating places to see in our limited amount of time we had in Rome. He also has many other books and resources to use while you stay there. We took one of the Rome tour books with us to each sight which was great to be able to read about the history of each place as we were right there. It was wonderful to have a comforable place to come back to after a long and full day of sight seeing. The breakfast was the most pleantiful that we have ,complimentary style, thus far in Europe. The fridge has several drinks that are for the taking during your stay as well. Location was very close to the Vatican and Metro. We enjoyed the exercise into the city and we able to walk to all of the main attractions from the hotel and back from 7am to 3pm, omitting the Vatican museum. Street was a bit noisy at night, but we were so exhausted that we didnt have trouble sleeping. We did not hav good luck eating near the B&B or in Piazza Navona. Overall a great deal for the money spent considering it is Rome.

Our party occupied all 3 rooms in the apartment, 2 doubles and 1 triple. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and spacious with the owner Paolo on hand in the apartment next door. Paolo is very friendly and approachable, he served breakfast at the time that was convinient for us and always made time to advise us on our trip.
The apartment is a few minutes walk from St Peter's Basiica, the Ottaviano station is only up the road and there are alot of buses from the main square around the corner, it is the perfect location for a city break.
This was my third visit to Rome and this was the best accomodation that I have had in the city.
